what I love about the compilation of kisses is it was not just gimmick whatsoever. It serves a meaningful purpose in the storytelling. It's like a poetic way of showing that at that moment, they were acknowledging their feelings and reliving the love they have in their past relationship
This scene reminded me of Doom At Your Service's kiss scene at Ep13. Where they gain their memories back and in the background as theyre kissing it shows the places she goes to wind down (i think?)

Same, it's so gooooood, it's like after their breakup they didn't want to do anything with each other anymore, but then the moment they met they started getting memories of their relationship they once had but always stopped remembering them once the scene in their mind came to those intimate moments(kisses) that's why we couldn't see them yet, but right after they kissed each other now, we can see how much they loved each other, this is my thought tho lol, but anyways they look so damn cute.
Whenever choi woo shik is complaining, it’s to tell her that he loves her. And whenever Kim da mi is asking him questions, it’s to reassure herself that he loves her. So realistic😍
I love how realistic the scenes are, it started with a sweet, awkward first kiss and we see it gradually turn into deep, loving kiss. I've seen dramas where the leads supposedly never dated before but when its their first kiss theyre suddenly the best kissers in the world😂 Also the longing in that last kiss! And the way they stitch all the scenes together gives me butterflies aaah its so good

I can’t remember the last time I felt watching a korean drama feels like a kdrama and damn this one gave it to me… this series is simple and yet captivating in all levels you can relate on every episodes and it’s has a lot of feels…. to be honest I stopped watching kdrama I tried watching the new ones but It’s not working anymore but damn this series is so addictive and the chemistry of the both leads are god tier the cinematography plus the humor 🤧
He tried so hard to push her away ever since they met again. It was obvious that he fought his desire to kiss and hold her way to many times that he finally had to gave in, and I’m glad that he did even if it won’t be an easy journey
Push her away? How many times did he grab her hand as she was about to walk away. He even held on to her fingers as he was faking sleep in this episode. Right from the start he has deep longing for her. He just has to cut down her pride a notch so that she will acknowledge her feelings for him.

The way he blocks her from leaving means he doesn't want her to leave. The way he puts the umbrella so she doesn't soaked in the rain means he still cares about her. The way he kisses her in the rain as an answer to her question, "Should I stay or leave?" means he doesn't need to think anymore, his heart already knows the answer ❤
She asks questions he either doesn't know the answer to or won't answer. He says things that makes her think the complete opposite of what he actually means. And yet both need each other tremendously. It's sad how we tend to hurt the one we care about the most. Perhaps it is because they are the ones closest to us. The ones we feel most vulnerable to.
I don't think a kiss scene has ever slapped as hard as that one did for me. The callbacks to the past, the sun shining through the rain, the transition into the previous kisses, the OST soothing in the background and just the release of tension. Perfection 👌

I just love the progression from the seasons to the kisses. I see people complaining that Kim Da-mi can't kiss but dude, look at the bts (behind the scenes). I also think it was intentional with the pecks. This is why I love slow burn since it all weaves into a piece that kills me yet satisfies me.

Everything about WooShik and Dami in this show feels like it’s made for them. They are the characters and their acting is top notch. So subtle but so moving. Only few actors can say little and yet, stir so many emotions. This scene especially is awesome! 💕
I think when Yeon Su called Ji Ung as 'Ung' and when they spent time together it made Choi Ung jealous. Add to it, he also heard the villagers asking Ji Ung abt his girlfriend (Yeon Su), he couldn't hold himself but take the umbrella and find her. Its funny that earlier Choi Ung said that the genre is no more ROMANCE but HORROR and he himself changed it back to ROMANCE ❤️
This drama without a doubt has been THE Drama of the year for me (do know it’s my opinion 😅). It finishes as strong as it it now and with a happy ending…then officially takes over the mantle of Best of all time (not joking). I usually rank Best with re-watchability trait and this drama is overflowing with it. Finger crossed they keep it going!
This is THE kind of drama that I have been waiting for and these Chungmuro's besties talents better not go to waste. I am not sure if I would be saying the same if they were played by different actors. Their micro expressions, the chemistry are off the charts. Wishing for more projects for Wooshik and Dami. Wooshik is really killing it in his first romance main lead role, he is the type of guy that you just want to hug, perfect for Yeonsu's intense personality. Also.. to think that this was marketed as a rom-com, we've all been deceived, and it's too late to back off. Group hug for fellow watchers who have been crying every Monday and Tuesday looool
it's a shame there are dumb people criticizing the scene and the actress because of the kiss, he also acted the same way in the first two kisses because that's what the scene required, they were still young and awkward. it's so easy to see that they wanted to show the audience that over the years they've become more intimate and comfortable with each other. i'm pissed. anyway, I love how dami also act with her eyes. she's brilliant and "the witch: part 1. subversion" is here to prove it.

I've never cried watching a kiss scene before. But this one was so overwhelming after all they've been through in these 8 eps. Also V's voice and the breathtaking cinematography added to the feels. I absolutely loveeeeeeeee this drama. It's the most beautiful and raw romance I've seen in a kdrama.

I don’t know how many times I’ve replayed this but the “kilig”, the excitement, the butterflies inside my stomach is still evident. Our beloved summer has actually swept all my favorite drama’s. I don’t know if it’s just me, but this drama gives something different vibes and aura that makes your hear flutter, warm, and ache too because of their breakup. I just love everything about this drama.
I'm the kind of person who mostly forward scenes when I watch especially dull stories but this series, I did not press forward or even skip the intro. I don't want to miss any detail. If you want a story that will make you feel all 4 seasons, watch this!

Very good script writing for this moment. Their emotions have been so flat for most of the drama, that it is so painful to watch, hoping waiting for some passion. But this moment, is very romantic. The way, he stands in the rain as he holds the umbrella over her, and she's asking him if she should stay or go, is poetry actually. Subtly is more powerful than directness. Him saying, I always knew this would happen again. Really? We certainly are rooting for them. Painful to see how most of the drama is just them pining for true connection subconsciously behind their love-hate Tom and Jerry.
This is what Choi Wooshik is stating during their interviews~ the highlight of the drama for him where it shows all 4 seasons huhu i love this drama so much I can’t explain it in words. Amazing 1st half. I thought I was watching a movie, not a drama at all. Everything about this drama is simply beautiful. The flow is pretty slow, but you can't skip any second and in the blink of an eye, 8eps have passed.
the last couple who gave me butterflies like this were iksong of hospital playlist. I always found myself going back on hosplay but now i can feel the same with woong-soo.

I really, really, hope that both Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi act in more rom-com dramas going forward (and even better if they play the leads in another rom-com drama together!). Everything about this drama is so on-point--we really need more dramas like Our Beloved Summer. I really hope that Netflix makes more refreshing, heartwarming dramas like this one.
I was saving this to watch when all the episodes came out... but I was so bored yesterday I watched all 8 and wow now I cannot wait, like physically cannot wait, for next week's episode :'( it's so cute and perfect to watch in bed.

To be honest, this isn't meant to be one of those dramas that's sole purpose is to make you cry. But somehow, this is the drama I cried the most while watching. It's just too beautiful and too pure. Make you think back on your life, your love, and how to really live.
Koreans are crazy good in making dramas especially romance drama. I mean the story is not something new but they have an amazing way of making it so relatable.
I have sooo much to say in this scene!! First, I love how the rain was edited like orb gold-like sprinkle which makes the moment more magicaal~ We saw the bts of this scene and rain was really just plain water dripping but they turned it to be more, as I said, MAGICAL. Second, I love how constant Yeonsu and Woong's characters are. She asked, "should I leave or stay?" Meaning asking for words of affection but here we have yet again Woong answering through physical affection, a kiss. Its like one of her "what ifs" but Woong shyly brushes it off and offers more swooning acts of service. My goodness this two!! Third, I love how they gave us this surprise compilation of their kisses. It's like this kiss reminded them of how they started making this present kiss more meaningful and beautiful. 8 more episodes!! I guess this time its Yeonsu who will do the chasing lol
Honestly, this drama has been worth the watch and I absolutely love everything about it; the cast, director, writer&writing, cinematography, OST and just how everything plays in together making each scene a perfection. After Coffee Prince and Goblin, I found another rom-com KDrama that I can binge watch forever. I can watch any random episode, scene anytime.... It's so beautifully directed, written and edited. The cast and crew did a fantastic job.
He knew it. He wasted 5 years only to fall for her again. Love is being love again. After all the year, even when she is so mean to him. Its okey to love her again. Its okey to let go the pain. The memories is too precious to be abandoned.
The last scene from episode 6 did it for me. I mean, it was so moving and powerful I can't get my eyes off of them. You can feel the emotions just overflowing. Then it got even better with this scene to the point where I literally covered my face with my hands because I felt 'kilig' (Filipino term for 'feeling excited or elated because of a romantic experience'). Then a feeling of shyness because I felt like I'm in middle of their conversation and I need to walk away but I can't because I need to find out what will Ung do so I'll just sit here feeling awkward lol

This is THE kind of drama that I have been waiting for and these Chungmuro's besties talents better not go to waste. I am not sure if I would be saying the same if they were played by different actors. Their micro expressions, the chemistry are off the charts. Wishing for more projects for Wooshik and Dami. Wooshik is really killing it in his first romance main lead role, he is the type of guy that you just want to hug, perfect for Yeonsu's intense personality. Also.. to think that this was marketed as a rom-com, we've all been deceived, and it's too late to back off. Group hug for fellow watchers who have been crying every Monday and Tuesday looool
it's a shame there are dumb people criticizing the scene and the actress because of the kiss, he also acted the same way in the first two kisses because that's what the scene required, they were still young and awkward. it's so easy to see that they wanted to show the audience that over the years they've become more intimate and comfortable with each other. i'm pissed.
anyway, I love how dami also act with her eyes. she's brilliant and "the witch: part 1. subversion" is here to prove it.

I've never cried watching a kiss scene before. But this one was so overwhelming after all they've been through in these 8 eps. Also V's voice and the breathtaking cinematography added to the feels.
I absolutely loveeeeeeeee this drama. It's the most beautiful and raw romance I've seen in a kdrama.
We can now finally see how much they've loved each other, because before we couldn't see their kisses because they only remembered it like after their breakup since they didn't want to do anything with each other anymore. but then the moment they met they started getting those memories of their relationship they once had but always stopped remembering them once the scene in their mind came to those intimate moments(kisses) that's why we couldn't see them yet, but right after they kissed each other now, we can see how much they loved each other and how much they still love each other, AND THAT- THAT IS TOO CUTE

Are you a literature student cos, you perfectly analysed the whole drama. What you said is absolutely true. We've been getting those flashbacks from Yeonsu and Ung's Pov. That's why we couldn't see the kiss scenes. They tried not to remember them. 😄😄
I don’t know how many times I’ve replayed this but the “kilig”, the excitement, the butterflies inside my stomach is still evident. Our beloved summer has actually swept all my favorite drama’s. I don’t know if it’s just me, but this drama gives something different vibes and aura that makes your hear flutter, warm, and ache too because of their breakup. I just love everything about this drama.
I'm the kind of person who mostly forward scenes when I watch especially dull stories but this series, I did not press forward or even skip the intro. I don't want to miss any detail. If you want a story that will make you feel all 4 seasons, watch this!

Very good script writing for this moment. Their emotions have been so flat for most of the drama, that it is so painful to watch, hoping waiting for some passion. But this moment, is very romantic. The way, he stands in the rain as he holds the umbrella over her, and she's asking him if she should stay or go, is poetry actually. Subtly is more powerful than directness. Him saying, I always knew this would happen again. Really? We certainly are rooting for them. Painful to see how most of the drama is just them pining for true connection subconsciously behind their love-hate Tom and Jerry.
This is what Choi Wooshik is stating during their interviews~ the highlight of the drama for him where it shows all 4 seasons huhu i love this drama so much I can’t explain it in words. Plus this is the first time I’m looking forward to Mondays that I hate the most. I’m just excited for the next episode. Monday pls come ASAP!!!

Amazing 1st half. I thought I was watching a movie, not a drama at all. Everything about this drama is simply beautiful. The flow is pretty slow, but you can't skip any second and in the blink of an eye, 8eps have passed.

I'm loving this drama sooooooo much! This scene was absolutely magical to watch--so beautiful! I really, really, hope that both Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi act in more rom-com dramas going forward (and even better if they play the leads in another rom-com drama together!). Everything about this drama is so on-point--we really need more dramas like Our Beloved Summer. I really hope that Netflix makes more refreshing, heartwarming dramas like this one.

I have sooo much to say in this scene!!
First, I love how the rain was edited like orb gold-like sprinkle which makes the moment more magicaal~ We saw the bts of this scene and rain was really just plain water dripping but they turned it to be more, as I said, MAGICAL.
Second, I love how constant Yeonsu and Woong's characters are. She asked, "should I leave or stay?" Meaning asking for words of affection but here we have yet again Woong answering through physical affection, a kiss. Its like one of her "what ifs" but Woong shyly brushes it off and offers more swooning acts of service. My goodness this two!!
Third, I love how they gave us this surprise compilation of their kisses. It's like this kiss reminded them of how they started making this present kiss more meaningful and beautiful.

He knew it. He wasted 5 years only to fall for her again. Love is being love again. After all the year, even when she is so mean to him. Its okey to love her again. Its okey to let go the pain. The memories is too precious to be abandoned.
The last scene from episode 6 did it for me. I mean, it was so moving and powerful I can't get my eyes off of them. You can feel the emotions just overflowing. Then it got even better with this scene to the point where I literally covered my face with my hands because I felt 'kilig' (Filipino term for 'feeling excited or elated because of a romantic experience'). Then a feeling of shyness because I felt like I'm in middle of their conversation and I need to walk away but I can't because I need to find out what will Ung do so I'll just sit here feeling awkward lol
