Was the testing done on a stock vehicle
The NSX has downpipes, exhaust, and JB4 as shown & discussed in the video.

Over 100 horspower with downpipes & exhaust.
If you put the car in S+ or Race the car will maintain the state of charge at max. It will never go below 50%.
I have driven mine on S+ and Track modes and the SOC seems to be at max or slightly below depending on the amount of braking during the session. Remember the brakes regenerate the hybrid system.
