When my 2006 Crown Vic POLICE car popped the motor from a faulty Mass Air Flow Sensor, FORD replaced the long block with a 2007 4.6. When my car was returned to me, I was told drive it today like you will any other day. I worked 5p-3a so after calls slowed down and after 1am I got out on the straights smoothest hiway and floored it. After about 4 or 5 runs It topped out at 137mph. When I was issued an Expedition several co workers argued over my car cause it wiped em all. The Expedition topped out at 105 due to the factory speed rating of the tires set in the computer.
Nice tidy an propr work is hard to find these days, RPM takes pride in there work without a doubt never mind the haters and key board warriors. I've watched every episode and season and they know there business. I'm a licensed industrial boiler/ combustion technician and take pride in what I touch everyday. Hope to one day be able to have RPM set up my future ride.
I genuinely wanted to hear and see Fran work on that converter, I love the technical shit and yea Eric, people that don't know won't appreciate the behind the scenes trick work😉, have a good one guys👍
That zr1 is a nasty beast... basically 900 wheel. Nice little daily driver. Kudos to Fran for the awesome tuning! I love how you guys go into detail about what your doing. Got nothing to hide!

My H/C/I C6Z is running 27* of timing in it along with all of the similar setup C6 Z06 cars that have come out of the same shop. None of us have had any issues and have put many HARD miles on our cars. I'm not claiming to be an expert by any means but there has to be more to the 27* of timing jokes lol. Plenty of cars are running that number just fine and making very good reliable power. If there's more to it then I'd surely love to know, I'm always down to learn a thing or two.
Like the saying, The difference between Men and Boys is the PRICE of their TOYS. The Red ZL1 did real good, but it has cost him $$$$$. Mostly the 1st shop that screwed his car, then paying y'all to fix it right. The outcome was awesome.

@@RaceProvenMotorsports I got a lot to learn. I have mine crank on 15° idle at 16-18, and WOT 28-29° Not to mention my turbo cars run 12-17° at 20 pounds of boost. Is that different numbers if tunning with Holley?
Eric, Tell Fran that Kong started making Carbon fiber again a few months ago, due to customer demand. Now Fran, I should have said This is the internet and they do make the Kong in Carbon fiber again. lol

My dad had a 90 C4 ZR1 then when they came out with the 92 model that jumped from 375 to 405 he had to have that traded the 90 in on one now that he is way older he prefers the base models says he doesn't need 700 HP lmfao
@@mrnonamenobody6910 I dont know exactly what that would be. ; but centrifugal builds boost with rpm. Pulleys, timing and fuel really is all that would give you more horsepower.
@@JBC1154 I know but was told that the reasoning behind using the wastegate was for boost by gear boost control etc....so that even tho it was pullied for 30lbs of boost( just using this as a number I don't know what max is for the setup)...the car would only see 10lbs in 1st...15lbs in 2nd...etc..so in a way in would act like a turbo car.
@@mrnonamenobody6910 boost by gear would almost be redundant for a supercharger because they cant over boost. But maybe if you just spin because of wheel speed when boost builds. But honestly never heard of boost controller or boost by gear
