I bought these after you recommended them in your vid just before Xmas , I love them , wear them all the time im a shepherdess/farmer/ woodworker/ occasionally bushcrafter and wild camper , there worth the money 😊
Those little triangle loops are for attaching Hester wrist bracelets so when to remove a glove especially on a ski lift you won’t lose your gloves. Sold as an optional extra. Hope this helps. Great gloves I own both colours 😀
Am sure they're nice gloves but 115 quid asking a lot. I spent 30quid on a pair of Wells Lamont. Same spec almost goat hide palm, cowhide rest leather gloves. Boiling hot in snow served me perfectly well. Hard to justify spending 4 times the amount basically just for the brand name. If they're good enough for Canadians which is where I bought them from they're more than good enough for my purposes
Hey buddy, you’ve sparked my interest…I’ve looked online/Amazon and there are quite a few versions of the ‘wells Lamont’ glove, which do you recommend? Definitely worth a punt for £30 ish 👍🏼
I recently bought these gloves after watching a bounch of reviews on YT. They are a little bit snug but that's good, they will get a little bit bigger when I've used them for a while. The price is high, but the best thing is that they are made of durable leather. If they get dirty you just clean them with fatty soap and water. Let them dry and them put the balm on. Then they are just like new again. You can wear almost any other glove inside, and liners can be bought separately. The wool liners can be handwashed if you want to use them again. As you say the gloves will last many, many years. Instead of buying new gloves made of fabric that will only look good and stay warm for one or, if you are lucky, two years. I'm done buying cheap gloves!😀
You're obviously a bit flush, Hazey lad. Leather rigger's gloves are about two quid a pair, for the tough stuff. Pair of hand knitted wool gloves from your Granny are free. Put the two together and you saved yourself over a ton. Might not have the same light touch, but then I don't take my violin out bush-crafting in the winter. Each to their own.
They do seem the business . Bit out of my price range at the minute though. Can you recommend any alternatives 🤔 . Considering a pair from helikon. Call the best Mr. Haze 👍
Look up Black charge Leather gloves for a cheaper alternative Theyre a warm winter glove thick and durable I've had mine for 4 years and still going strong Theyre about 40 quid on Amazon 👍
Can I ask? Did you buy them or did they send you them? Only I'm doubtful of any reviews where the products have been sent for free. If you bought them, then fair play.
I looked at these and be Jezus, they're expensive and then, recently, I saw Simon a Bloke in the Woods talking about them in his kit review from this year's (2022) Canoe Tour in Sweden/Norway. He was NOT impressed with them is all I can say so, I guess it is all about opinions and how deep your pockets are. I manage with some cheap Leather working gloves as I couldn't afford these, but each to their own. 😏
Behave yourself yellow leather driving gloves around £8 ! A pair get some leather treatments rubbed in Last couple of years so for price of them I reckon around 15 pairs so around 30 years use and they bright yellow so easy to spot if dropped
@@stephennormanton3232 I use no gloves in my iron foundry A. because I'm rock hard and B. becomes I don't have an iron foundry On another note. Yellow gloves are rubbish
Sorry mate but I would never pay that for a pair of gloves, each to their own. I'm sure other viewers are shaking heads at this over a 100 pound for a couple of hand socks hazeo🤣🤣 you been on the owld vino de grapes..

Love that they are wool lined, means not only will they stay warm when wet, but you can handle the fire without melting the insulation.

Had a pair of these for a while, amazing bit of kit
Second that! Best pair of gloves I’ve ever owned!

@@ant_hart I bought hydraHyde genuine black leather winter gloves.
US army surplus
with a wool liner
for almost nothing
They are a decent glove, probably more suited to colder climates in general but they are great for around the fire. Classy bit of kit

Hullo Hazey!
Time for some gear junkie fix.. 😁😁
Hope you’re having a good start to the year Hon! ATB
Great Gloves that are worth every penny
FWIW Ray Mears has them for 95 quid (it's worth getting the Hestra "handcuffs" for an extra fiver too)
HTH
Hestra gloves are in a league of their own. Cost a fortune but worth every penny.

Now someone has to ask it.......and that someone will have to be me......... Are they any good whilst wobbling the old spam javelin?
I mean they should be or you could pay for a female to stroke your fleshy polar neck for a similar amount 👍
How long would you leave before the 1st balm treatment Haze?

But could you knock out a water buffalo with one punch wearing them?
Overkill for me and my climate. But always interested in your take.
damn man how can we see the gloves if you are constantly moving them about.
Hazey, it's Fält Guide Glove named after Lars Fält...lol...

@@marcusaurelius3487 Go view the video I mentioned above and find out for yourself as I really can't recall the specific details now.
Aup mate. Does the recent Brexit changes to shipping affect Nordic outdoors? In terms of extra shipping tax charges I mean.

Pick up the handle of a wrought iron pan from the fire and hold it for thirty seconds or more..

Not a problem if you can get a wrought iron pan as all I have seen are cast also just as a foot note I use them at work in my iron foundry
