You are probably corrupting too much at a time which leads to just a black screen or emulator crash. What you need to do is set the start byte and end byte not too far apart from each other. Go section by section and set your “Corrupt Every - byte” at high number. Start with every 500th byte to be safe. And then lower it by 25 bytes in that particular section. Doing this in several sections in the start and end bytes will produce countless corruptions. Also don’t be afraid to experiment with it. I have always found it beneficial to use “Shift Right - bytes” or “Add - to byte”. Note that you may use negative integers as well. Good luck.
