I wish the 6 had a better battery. 😔 Trying to decide which to get. And the pro being titanium and bigger battery just is much better for me. Even if it won't last as long from updates
well there is promised 4 years of updates and I think 1 year of security updates after that. watch 5 pro came out in Aug 2022, so you have a few more years left. Although with the watch 7 coming out soon, think about the new watch or look for a good deal on watch 5 pro. good luck!
@@techgadgets100 i dont think 7 will be in my budget :( i wish! and thanks! im glad it will have a few more years. my understanding is 6 came out in 2023?
Very nice review - glad to see you agree with the digital bezel being good, even though I have previous versions with physical bezel - the new digital is fine for me Battery is the big plus for me on pro
I know that everyone wanted Samsung to bring back the physical bezel but Im not sure why everyone hated the digital bezel so much. I thought it worked very well. Thanks for watching!
How big a deal are watch software updates if you wantto use thewatch long-term? I know the features will start to lag, but other than that would there be any real issues?
Obviously you will not get any new features and eventually apps may not work properly, but that will only be an issue if the software if very out of date. The biggest concern is after the watch stops getting security updates. This could put your information at risk, your contacts, credit cards, basically any info stored on the watch. Samsung promises 4 major updates and 1 year of security updates, so 5 years total.
I am just looking for a watch that can make phone calls via Bluetooth, receive texts and notifications of my choosing, and store music on the watch unless it can play my playlist from my phone via Bluetooth which of these would you recommend for me between these 3 Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy watch 6 classic or Amazfit 4 GTR?
All 3 of those watches will do everything you are asking. They can all store your music and they also can control your phone's music and Spotify, TH-cam music and other streaming services. There are a lot of differences between these watches, but the biggest is the operating system. The Samsung watches run WearOS so you will have access to all your Google apps and the Play store. Amazfit does not allow 3rd party apps. The Samsung watches are also more durable with a sapphire crystal glass. The GTR 4 though, offers much better battery life- which is a big plus in my book. Also the GTR 4 is an older watch, look into the Amazfit Balance or even the new Amazfit T Rex 3. Check my channel- I did full reviews on all of these watches. If you want a more definitive answer, based on your statement, I think the Balance would probably be your best bet and you can probably get a good deal on one now.
The LTE version allows you to make phone calls and get notifications without the need for your phone to be nearby. Might be good for emergency situations, when phone battery dead or you forgot your phone or if you exercise without your phone. But if you always have your phone with you then it is not a useful feature. Plus, with the LTE, you have to pay your phone provider for another line- but it is usually pretty cheap- and the watch will be more expensive. The Samsungs have this feature, the Amazfit does not.
