You can also disconnect it from your phone, on your phone in BT settings. But of course then you will not get any notifications.

I am not exactly sure where you are, but if I go to smart things settings, hit top left arrow to go back, then there will be a home icon on the bottom left of screen. If all else fails, close the app and re open it, you will automatically go to the home screen. hope that helps.

@@techgadgets100 oddly, that is not working. When i hit that top left arrow, it takes me out of the app. I selected the "pin to screen" or whatever that option was, for the app icon to appear on my phone's main screen, the icon shows the logo for location and the blue logo for Smart things. I had to go back to the Play Store, look for the Smart things app, click on it, and when doing that, it does take me to the home screen. But when using the app by clicking the icon directly on my cellphone (where all of my other apps are) it does not take me to the home screen, nor it give me the option to do so.

@@techgadgets100 Never mind! i figured it out! I need to add the regular Smart Things app to my main phone screen. The one that i was having a hard time with is the one that has the main icon showing the emoji used universally for location as well as next to it the icon for Smart things. This is probably not making any sense to you, haha! anyway, i figured it out, but thank you for your help! :)

Obviously, wearOS and Samsung integration is great, will you use the Google apps? Are you planning on using the LTE service? Dont mind the daily charging? then Watch 6 classic is a great watch. Samsung promises 4 years of software updates, so like 2.5 years to go and then it will still probably be fine for a 1-2 years after that. If you answered no to the above questions, then the Balance. Which I still love. I love the rotating crown and great battery life. with new software updates it can do probably everything you need. another factor to consider, Samsung has sapphire crystal, much better than Balance, which I believe is tempered glass. That gives you a few things to think about, but both are great watches!

I have not tested the Redmi Watch 5, it is not available in the US yet. The feature set looks very similar, but you would get a rotating crown, which I love. If you plan on keeping for awhile, and it looks like the price different is ~$40, I would probably go for the regular watch 5 if available in your country.

It does have a mic but no speaker. I agree that was a big miss!

Looks like Amazfit is not selling the GTR 4 anymore, might mean less software updates in the future. The new GTR 4 is the Balance. The Balance and Cheetah are similar, but the Balance gives you a speaker and a slightly larger screen. It seems that the Cheetah was not as popular as the Balance and GTR 4 so may have a shorter shelf live but might get better discounts on it. So close to the same price, get the Balance, big savings than go for Cheetah but remember no phone calls on it. Hope that was helpful!

I think the Redmi watch 5 Lite is better than the Active. And I would recommend the CMF watch 2 pro over the original CMF watch pro. The Redmi watch 5 Lite vs CMF watch 2 pro is probably very close and I would pick on style preference. That aside, between the Redmi watch 5 active and original CMF watch pro (your actual question), I would go with the Pro. Hope that helps!

If you mean the Watch 5 Pro against the "regular" watch 7, then hands down, keep watch 5 pro. If you are happy watch 5 Pro, I would recommend most people not upgrade to watch 7 Ultra only because it is so expensive. BUT if you can get a deal or great trade in from Samsung then I would consider it.

I got it wet but did not do any extensive water testing. But it is rated for 5 ATM and there are several water sport work out trackers, including swimming. So should be fine for pool swimming. But you should not take any smart watch into the sauna or spa- steam and temp could and would likely damage them. Also they usually say in fine print somewhere that the watch is only meant to be used in fresh water.

Between those 2, definitely Cheetah. But also look at Balance and Amazfit just introduced the Active 2. If you are looking for an Amazfit watch, I would go with the Balance, bigger screen than Cheetah or Active 2 (for preorder) and the price has come down quite a bit. I did several videos on the Balance, check them out before buying.
