I was writing a song a few months ago that has a line “I’m not crazy when I’m alone” and sent a progress report to a friend. He learned it and sent it back with the an added one line that followed “well you might be crazy, cuz yer not alone” … blessings brother :) love ya

January 2, 2021 my bonus son (step son) asked his dad and I hesitantly to play your Doin’ Me song. We played the song telling him he had a pass. Man. Your song hit me like a ton of bricks. My Dads name was Mike. He was a poor, drunk, happy man. October 28th 2017 he got drunk pregaming for a Notre Dame football game. He was so excited to go. He had not been since before I was born. Him and his friend were heading towards the college campus. He fell down right next to the graveyard with the golden dome right in front of him. He was rushed to the hospital and the neuro surgeon told me he had a 1% chance. He died the next day on October 29. Doin’ Me is literally the life my Dad lived. I’m so glad my bonus kid showed me “that” inappropriate song that day. My Dad was not the worlds greatest but he was always so proud of me. Today it has been 5 years. Today. Today your music made me smile. I’ll forever be grateful for another Mike living his favorite life. Best of luck to you my friend. If you ever find yourself in southern Michigan I would love to have a beer. Mad love. 🖤

A few years ago I was fortunate to be in Cayman Brac, a remote island with a population of 2000. My wife and I drove around in a jeep and listened to music. She was singing some Mikey Mike and the kids sang along without prompting.
