Hiking the Fillmore Canyon Trail in the Organ Mountains - New Mexico

The Fillmore Canyon is rated as a moderate trail but I think it was mostly easy. There are large rock formations, beautiful mountain views and a waterfall. Definitely worth it! :)

We mostly had it to ourselves. There were two or three people at the waterfall when we first got there but they left. We went on a Friday. It’s a great trail. You won’t be disappointed. 🙂

The average temperature in November is 67 high (Fahrenheit) with a low of 41. Still very pleasant and not too cold.

Thanks! If you're going to be there in August I would start the hike early in the day and bring some water. There are so many amazing scenic trails in the area, you're going to love it.
