FROM THE COMPETENT DRIVER HIMSELF: "I'm happy if most of you appreciate my videos. I don't post them to show if I am a great driver or not. I'm doing them only to show you how is an Enzo or a FXX. For the other I don't mind. As Peloton wrote I made the record made by FXX customers in Fiorano. In Monza at Ferrari Mondiali I made the 3rd fastest lap with 15% of tyres. The first 2 are professional driver and the last time I have driven the Fxx was in march so I'm happy for my lap.
Before commenting on his driving ability: Its an 850hp RWD no traction control car. If we even dreamed about attempting that we'd be in a wall! And, note he has won the F1 world championship numerous times, I think he knows what he's doing Long live the prancing horse!
i think hes a good driver he has a good handling of the car and thats not easy at all when ur driving a ferrari fxx i think he knows when to shift too really good video thanx for posting this !
So many people saying he's a bad driver. Ferrari hand picked who they sold 38 of these cars to, highly doubt they chose anyone unworthy. Whip anything this hard with even 500+hp and 2WD and let me know how good you were
Nah, he really is a bad driver. Hamfisting the wheel with closed thumbs, mashing the shit out of the gas and brake instead of rolling on/off.... it screams of amateur.
Having never had the luxury of owning, seeing, or driving one of these 30 (one offs from) Ferrari, I cannot believe how (in whatever gear, 1st or 2nd maybe) this monster comes into it's power-band. It's like an on/off switch. Good God, I would love to drive one of these before I die. I love this video. PS At first viewing, I thought this might be Michael Schumacher and his FXX, but I think he had car # 30 and it appears he has sold it as of late. Oh, well I guess I can't say I went for a spin with the winning-est F1 driver of all time.
You sound like your heart and soul is in the performance of what this machine is capable of. Do yourself a favor and go test ride (and subsequently buy) a high-powered sport bike. I recommend a KTM SuperDuke if you don't want to be hunched over on a race bike but still want to rip like a banshee. Please, your soul will be lacking until you twist the throttle and say, "I didn't know it was THIS faaaast!" I promise that you'll find that feeling you're energized about in this video. It's totally attainable. Do it!
I have loved this video for so long. Couldn't find it for a while. I have imagined often the backstory. Both guys are wearing jeans. Very rich people casual. Probably somebody was like "hey you wanna go for a drive?" Gold jewelry, so what, but tasteful. But he can DRIVE. Anyone know circumstance or driver? Video is 13 years old.. When he hands the passenger his phone at like 150mph-_it's the coolest shit ever. That F. like a barely controllable monster. The sound. This is timeless. I would love to dad more on this vein. Casual drives. Like if Schumacher wanted to show off for a girl 13 years ago. I like to imagine who this driver is. The Stig?
Haha you kidding? This is Manuma, the guy is a legend and he's a very good driver. I don't think this has traction control (and if it does it doesn't make much difference) and this car is an absolute beast. I've seen plenty of people get sideways with these and I'd say this guy does a pretty good job saving it. :)
My neighbor Benny Ciola, drove away in his FXX one day, the last time I had seen it a few years ago, I couldn't believe it was going to be driven on te street. But off it went, and didn't come back. The sound was incredible, it was parked in his daughters garage with the exhaust pointed right at my house, awsome machine. I'll miss him.
That car is a beast. I mean I agree with some of the comments that he could possibly push the car harder in some of the turns. But even at the speeds he's driving at you need nerves of steel. I mean, just look at how hard he's trying to keep it together under WOT.
Its really nice to see some people really pushing these million dollar beasts to the limit. And I love to see it get loose in some of those corners. My god I'm jealous.
What an awesome car and driver! That's pure power, I love how he has to keep it in tone and correct it when accellerating.. Skilled driver and one hell of a car!
I've not driven the FXX. It's clear for all to see that this fella is not a race driver though! Miles away from the limits of adhesion for this vehicle & power. Thanx 4 posting anyway.
imagine this....you're at a track day in your pride n joy, perhaps taking a corner at 70-80mph...then suddenly you see this thing getting bigger and bigger in your RVM until suddenly rips by you at some kind of silly speed leaving you awestruck....and feeling like you're in a child's pedal powered toy.....what a machine.
i love how that thing just walks on the porches in this video, simply amazing. Wish i had a car that could break traction on any gear at any speed, now thats bragging rites haha
I can watch this vid over and over again, just luv that sound of pure madness! And for those whos shitting off their mounth that driver is noob, buy your own fxx and show us you`re better!
The best "worst" situation one could have: Too bad there's so much power that I cant accelerate in a straight line without spinning the tires! My favorite Ferrari of all time.
i think its a combo of roadtires and 800++ hp. This car is SO powerfull, it need slicks :D If you notice, he oversteers in almost every corner, and he is not that heavy on the throttle.. but then again.. Ferrari power..!
Yea, we can all criticize that guys driving, but how many of us have driven anything like this. One thing Ive learnt from watching this clip is how ferocious the acceleration affects the steering.
the guy is crazy, is he wearing a helmet? he seems to take a few to many risks but he can drive, not great, but you have to be good to drive that car that hard and keep it on the track. great vid, love the sound!
@supersourdiesel480 youve gotta be kidding me, this man is driving an fxx, which means he has to be an amazing driver. Look at the way he saves the spins
It is just like this : Somebody who is in the posession of a ferrari fxx or just driving one must be a hell of a driver! money doesn't matter at ferrari , limited edition cars!
This is a seriously intimidating car. Did you see how many times he almost lost it? Even though this driver is obviously very talented, this car is a beast. It makes a Porsche GT2 look like a Buick.
I think that was some great driving, because all the digital wanne be pro drivers would crash this amazing car the first few feet out on the track. You need some massive skills to handle those HP on a track that just is not as smooth as you game console can deliver. Plus, driving those kinda speeds in real life will quickly scare the crap out of you, balls to drive this quick! Super massive video, thanks for sharing!
That is the beauty part with Ferrari. They offer you the chance to drive it, you can't title it for the road and Ferrari only allows it for limited track usage (including a FXX only race with other buyers).
So many experts on youtube lol I bet 99% of u all saying hes a bad driver never been at a track
never gets old...love this video!!!!!
Yes! Still watching 10 years later

this guy is superhuman, a lead foot and intense rections cating those slides . . . .savage!
Seriously. Other than maybe being a little hard on the gas at times, the guy has skills. He definitely does not suck.
i love it! almost every time he hits the gas, he gets oversteer. that car is insane!
This driver has mad skills! He or she is very, very good and has F1 level reflexes.

So amazing...I watched it so many times. That’s fighting against a Beast !
So many people saying he's a bad driver. Ferrari hand picked who they sold 38 of these cars to, highly doubt they chose anyone unworthy. Whip anything this hard with even 500+hp and 2WD and let me know how good you were
Weren't they 30? I heard there were 30 made and not 38
People saying that don’t know anything.. look at 2:30 .. that the best proof ! 95% of good pilots lose the car in this situation 😂👍
Nah, he really is a bad driver. Hamfisting the wheel with closed thumbs, mashing the shit out of the gas and brake instead of rolling on/off.... it screams of amateur.
This is micheal Schumachers Ferrari that he is driving...

Thanks I appreciate that acknowledgment. as well the tip. I am a KTM believer. Keep the shiny side up.
I've seen alot of videos here on youtube, but I have to say that was the best video I've seen, ever.
U know how hard this must be to control
Damn, I felt that

i think this is the only car i can listen to and see and get chills from how incredible it is.. cheers to italy
Agreed, for a Ferrari driver, hes pretty good. It's crazy how much the steering wheel rips back and such after he comes out of a corner accelerating.
My neighbor Benny Ciola, drove away in his FXX one day, the last time I had seen it a few years ago, I couldn't believe it was going to be driven on te street. But off it went, and didn't come back. 1:21 "Here take this, call your loved ones and say goodbye" Awesome machine and video
Absolutely beautiful very nice car control I was in awe listening to that beast and you some how taming it very nicely done!!!

i've seen this Ferrari at the Brabus Showroom in Bottrop, really close to my town .. its an unbelievable car .. Ferrari forever!!
insane driving! Funny how he always gives fullthrottle as soon as possible. I bet the passenger almost shittet himself :D
Holly mother of god that car is a beast with sprinkle of madness on top
Its really nice to see some people really pushing these million dollar beasts to the limit. And I love to see it get loose in some of those corners. My god I'm jealous.
Wow! Awesome vid man! Respect to the skilled driver! Great sounds!
What an awesome car!!The driver missed the apex on at least 10 corners, but he was flying anyway. No criticism - he was going for it.
The in-car vid and sound was great!
I hope he keeps his day job though! :)
PineValleyDigital Micheal shumaker driving
This is simply mesmerizing to watch. Put me in a trance.
Car with balls, driver with balls. ♥
Yeah, it does wonders when people actually read descriptions. Kudos to you on the knowledge!
man the power of this car sent chills up my spine... o_o

Nice work taming that beast! Awesome car, great driving very few people of here would be able to control this thing at half throttle!
Just looking at his hands, you can tell how much power this thing has.
looks like he did the best he could handling wise

That is some great driving. That's a lot of car.

Sick sound!! :)
Michael Schumacher makes it look so easy, brilliant!!

nope, it was really a very good reaction in 2:42 , with nice reflex, nice save. Props to the driver.

this Ferrari FXX catching that cars like a hungry cat catching the mouses ;))

That is one of the best sounds I've ever heard in my life. Sounds like a scaled down version of God, for example.
Very Good
the most beautiful moment is when the driver pass the mobile to the passenger in a bend with full throttle!!! he's crazy!!!
She has some mad skillz!
what a lucky bastard to drive that amazing car!!
this car is an absolute beast
Gotta love TH-cam comments. This guy probably drives better than most of you ever will, let alone if you get the chance to drive it.
Its a badass badass RACE car...

I'd love to see the 2013 ACR viper vs the FXX. I know the FXX would win, but it would be a blast to see them on the same track at the same time.
"sorry love, can't talk, I'm driving"
That was quite exciting
i love how the guy took his hand off the wheel for like 10 seconds and grabbed his cell phone out of his pocket
I can watch this vid over and over again, just luv that sound of pure madness!

That car looks like a bit of a handful. Good for him. He even held it at 2.41 when the VTEC kicked in. LOL
The best "worst" situation one could have: Too bad there's so much power that I cant accelerate in a straight line without spinning the tires!
