I was a kid in that town in the 50s and 60s forever getting stopped by the Suffolk Constabulary for no reason and they were very rude, possibly worse back then no mobiles or videos to record their behaviour..
My thing is this, why can’t they just act like human beings? It’s not hard. Just say morning and move on. But they have to give you an order. This is why there is a gap between the police and the public. They can’t just be normal humans. Who are they trying to impress?

Just an idea, but why don't you audit a town, you could show the shopping centre, and the amenities (sports centre, swimming pool etc), you could show the local churches, any historical buildings, of course the police station, ambulance, fire. You could comment on the cleanliness of the town in general. I myself am aiming to do this in the New Year, when I reach pension age, I am aiming to travel the towns (and villages) in Cambrideshire, showing places of interest (and the odd police station, no doubt)
Great idea. Investigate where all the "council tax" money is going, as it certainly isn't being spent on improving services and amenities within towns and cities.
