Lol i love the commitment to at the end to just not let go of the car. i mean the car won but you have to admire the effort 🤣. would you mind if i used this clip in one of my videos fully credited to yourself of course. if not no worries and enjoy the rest of your week :)

Classic ametuer. Simple safety strap would have prevented this🤷🏼‍♂️. Anyone who does recovery professionally will tell you the same.

@@kevindavisnumberone A simple "catch" strap connected to the truck deck(usually near the winch) which is just about 1 meter longer than the deck is attached to the car suspension. If the winch cable/attachment fails the strap will "catch" the car and prevent it running away. "axle" safety straps are ok but dont help if your winch line fails. All AA trucks in the uk are fitted with breakaway restraints for just this reason 👍🏻.

@@kevindavisnumberone also, the old rule of 'always have 3 points of contact between casualty and truck will eliminate any risk of runaway cars. Brother straps and breakaway strap.. Fail proof.

Every recovery nightmare , I always use 2 J hooks or brothers on lower arms. Let’s hope he had proper insurance and the passenger was ok.
