Hello 🤍 Upon uploading this video featuring the webcam cover sticker, i received comments saying that the protector may potentially cause a screen crack.
After asking around, it seems that for newer macbooks with screens that do not have a frame; where the whole screen is just the screen without a border made out of another material, resultant is a possibility that the webcam cover can cause screen cracks over time. As such, the webcam cover may only be safe for laptops of other brands or macbooks with a frame!! (take reference from the old 2015 macbook air as an example).
Disclaimer: This is what i got from asking around and doing some research. Do purchase this product at your own risk and in accordance with the type of laptops you have!! Thank you 💕
ahhh thank you for letting everyone know! it’s also the case with keyboard covers!! they may cause too much pressure when you close your screen so pls be careful with those too

webcam cover is not recommended by apple as it will damage the screen when closing the lid and it would not be cover by its one year warranty.

i heard cheap macbook cases tend to leave a gap when closed or even bended a little after a month? how's yours?
i’ve been using it for around a month and it’s working well! it didn’t give me any problems thus far :-) the case is well fitted and doesn’t protrude out so there’s no gap!
If i may ask, is the microsoft words etc included in the macbook or is it ready to use because you bought the educational package? Mine is arriving next week, i am excited! It is space grey!

hi i'm not too sure abt that, but i personally feel that the US english keyboard is more popular, and if you're looking for keyboard covers, they usually sell the US english one!

@@kamubarak3698 if you check in the safari setting the camera and mic are in ask mode as default. And there will be indicator in the control centre which apps is using the camera or mic
