I saw the Smashing Pumpkins in 96 and they sucked and the crowd felt it. Big time. I saw Iron Maiden for the 6th time two years ago and the crowd (as is the case at most Maiden gigs) become part of the performance. The crowd is absolutely KEY to any great gig.

Best moment of the entire festival was when repulsion played The Hammer by Motörhead (this was right after lemmy died’, the place went dangerously insane. Ok, now I gotta go check to see who is playing this year...
