Similarly there may be a lot high tech corporate hospitals may be seen in Madras. But, the one only Vijaya hospital is world famous hospital since 65 years. All hospitals are next to CMC and Vijaya hospitals only...
Why this much, when I was 5, 6 years old the only best government hospital called in those days as லண்டன் தோட்டான் ஆஸ்ளத்திரி கீழ்பாக்கம்..for all small and big ailments we use to go. One old age compounder wore white Gandhi cap use to give us the one and only mixture syrup in a green bottle for all diseases by dumping from big ceramic jar (ஜாடி) same looks like the present day mineral water can. now it is KMC. But what miracle is the only maroon color syrup will cure what ever disease it may be...

Let’s stop glorifying the suppression of our own people. They gave us English and introduced their ways, but that doesn’t mean our ancestors lived like uncivilized people before that. We have such a rich heritage and history. Education, literature, arts and culture was very much advanced way before the British invaded India.
