love this video! "rocket of desire" - was very happy to hear this phrase :)) Thanks for editing in Bruce Almighty moments, right in the place! this film makes me so happy.
Besides the "Bruce Almighty" scene you mentioned, is there a specific scene or quote from your favorite Jim Carrey movie that always fills you with optimism or motivates you to chase your dreams?
Yes & No This ideology teaches that if you want something badly enough & get into the practice of deluding yourself that you already have it, you will manifest your desires. While some of the fundamental principles of being conscious of your mind & self are true, the core here places a great weight, great value, on your thoughts. This eventually creates obsession in the best cases, and insanity in the worst. Which is not to speak of the fact that the things you *want*, are in our modern society, influenced by television. Movies. Pop music. Societal expectations & pressure, the list goes on. Many of these things deliberately teach you to chase after things that will not satisfy your true self, only your animal body & mind, for a short while. To be truly happy, it is not about getting what you want. It's about knowing what you are, behind the over-glorified thoughts & body; it's about recognizing what is aware of the mind & body. The mind does not create consciousness, the thoughts are not _you_. Your moods & situations are always subject to change, but there is one thing that does not change. Can you recognize what it is?
+reminder: do you really think Jim doesn't know that? Watch some other videos like this to educate yourself first, then you can "teach" what you think is right. peace~ haha
