I really enjoyed this video float trip, drone was a great view into all, on the river. The deer had a nice spot tucked away. And the cabin was beautiful. Thank you Dennis:)
This was your best video yet, though that early twirling made me dizzy! 😄 Having the camera at water level was also fun, though I wished you'd brought the camera up to your viewpoint eventually. I loved the drone bits, of course. Mostly, I'm glad you and your cousins had a grand time together and that you enjoyed the river. Thanks for taking me along, virtually anyway.
first time down that river was around 1993. Sunburst or whoever they were before now, dropped us off way up the river and we canoed and slept on river bank for 3 days. Before they were commercialized like now. They picked us up at some lake I think at Arkansas border and drove us to our car. Can you imagine canoeing with 3 days of beer for 4 people. like a case a day per person. Of course we turned boat over in first half hour and picked up our beer out of river for next few miles. At least it stayed cold.
You and I have very similar beginnings to our early days of canoeing. I had the very same experience about that same time on the Buffalo River in Arkansas. Outfitters dropped us off several miles upstream, and we began our 3 day/2 night journey back to camp. Now a days, I rent the most expensive cabin on the river, watch the people float by, and only partake in about an 8 mile float, lol. I will do an extensive trip down the Buffalo again one day. I really want to do it again, this time with a lot more wisdom and respect for my surroundings. Thank you very much for the view and response. You brought back some good memories. Cheers!
@@dennisschullerjr1720 Yup, the hangar or the lodge usually. In that first trip, I met a couple locals fishing below dam at Dawt Mill, drank some of their moonshine. I passed out in canoe and as wife was screaming at me to steer, we hit the bank. I remember rolling out of canoe and floating. I then woke up in a pasture with grazing cows. Made my way back to river and waited on bank not knowing what to do. Started floating again and found them around the bend in a panic that I died. Whew
@Cold417 Thanks for watching! Check out my latest video about the Northfork, it is in 360° video. You can really see a lot more of the river in that video. It is premiering on my main channel. Thanks again, cheers!
@reesbritton6623 thanks for the heads up! Can't wait to see it. Unfortunately, that is still a couple of months away 😕 I will be looking forward to it. Cheers!
We use to do Bryant Creek regularly. The fishing used to be better on that stretch of water. Since the flood of 2017 tho, the White has been excellent to fish. I made a Bryant Creek video the last time I went there. It's archived into My Floating Videos Playlist.
Flows pretty nice all year long. Like all rivers, it just depends on annual rain sheds. This section of the river has several natural springs that help keep the water levels nominal for floating almost all year.

The section you said that you love is totally different now! The last flood really changed the river…

Great video. Planning a trip down there in early September. Going to do the same float. Perhaps the next day jump over Bryant Creek.

Does it allways flow that good? Looks amazing.

Loved the drone shots. Did you have to get a permit?
