This episode was a masterpiece. There’s no reason for Billy to think of Wanda as his ‘mom’. He doesn’t remember Westview at all, and it’s been Rebecca Kaplan who has been loving him and taking care of him for the last three years.
Again, loved your reaction. This episode is entertainment at its best. This is why you cast a stage legend like Patti LuPone. I never was able to watch her on Broadway as Evita but fortunately I was able to see her live when she played Mrs. Lovett in the striped down version of Sweeney Todd.
This episode is so complicated, because on one hand Lilia's sacrifice is so sad, but on the other hand, it is so beautiful. Plus she finally understands and accepts what she has feared all here long, long life. Also, as an example of impeccable writing skill... *chef's kiss!* I also hope you are feeling less lurgi-fied now
My favourite episode of the season - I loved Lilia's trial and how her story was told! Wasn't expecting much from this show tbh (I'm a casual watcher of MCU stuff), but I've become quite attached to these characters! As always, your humorous commentary always makes for a fun reaction - good job!
Just a masterpiece of storytelling. Patti was luminous. There was heartbreak, acceptance, a life fulfilled. She found her coven. Just chefs kiss.💋 and took out the baddies.
Congrats on remaining spoiler-free. 4:50 According to the costume designer (who included symbols of the castle tower where Lilia meets her Maestra on her jacket) she takes her first lesson there in 1540. 12:45 Is it a flashback, or did she just jump again before she died? It's totally open to interpretation. A lot of viewers like to think that because she flipped the hourglass over, she just gets to go around again. Or, she's jumping back to live the gaps she missed. I love this episode. Patti LuPone kills it as Lilia. She plays all of the emotions of a "forgotten woman" until Lilia accepts/reclaims her power and then she brings such presence as Lilia commands the room for her Trial. And Lilia, whose Sight didn't change anything for her old coven, is able to "use her remaining time" to save her new coven. The way they staged the Tower flip to take out the Seven.🤌 Lilia seems at peace as she falls for the last time. I also love the Maestra, who guides her from centuries past, and the sweet dynamic between Lilia and Jen that shows how much Jen has grown. The Death reveal is almost a side note (if one can make Aubrey a side note.)
Hello!!! Episode 8 and 9 coming soon. Thanks for your patience.
This episode was a masterpiece.

He was also Wanda's kid for like 5 days max. He's been Rebecca's son for 3 years.
Cameron Squires and Gia King must get an Emmy nomination for this episode. It is the most perfectly written episode of any TV show I've ever seen.
thank you for pointing out the writers' names!

Lilia's sacrifice was better than Iron Man in Endgame
