The thing I always like about your videos is they have the feel of hanging out in a buddy's shop watching him teach you how to do something. A lot of overly slicked up video productions make me feel like I'm watching an actor play a part. Keep up the great work!

Thanks so much for this video! I just bought a 1987 Holiday Rambler Monitor that has all jealousie windows. 7 to be exact. They are different than this window. They have the window Paine on each side that doesn’t open and the jealousie part opens in the center. I guess I got my work cut out for me. Praying I can do this.

I have the exact duplicate of your trailer which is a 69 Siesta. I will be restoring it next after my 54 Jewel is complete. There are no plans for these trailers. Hopefully you have all the cabinets still. Great trailer. If you take a look at my recent videos I've been camping in it for a year now. Can't wait to restore it.
Mine have screws on the end, that allows for easier glass removal.
I was hoping to learn the best way to fix the glass clips when they break off...
That is a huge tuffy... I have heard of one person fabricating new ones. I have a video on how to remove and reinstall them properly and without hurting them.
Hello new subscriber here. I had a question for you? I just bought a 1967 cardinal and I went to open one of the windows and it opens but when I went to close it the knob on the operator comes off doesn’t shut the window I looked online but i can’t find the same operator knob I have. it looks like a butterfly knob I was wondering if a different knob would work
Hard to say without seeing what is going on there. The knobs are held in with a screw so it shouldn't just fall off the crank assembly. Let's start there. Are you missing the screw? And it would be much easier to communicate with me in email so you can send me a photo if need be. mobiltec@gmail.com I can tell you where to get a new knob if that is what you need. You can also get new crank assemblies if needed.
It’s not the screw I noticed on the knob the thread that goes into the hole is broken so it doesn’t catch when you turn it to close just when it opens I have the trailer on my dad’s property so when I can I’ll email you a picture of it i appreciate your time thank you so much buddy

How do you replace the screen on that window? Thanks!
I happen to have a video on that subject. As long as you have the frame, you can replace the screen. Screen is available at any hardware store along with the rubber spline that holds it in place. You can get the pizza cutter looking tool to install the spline with there also. If you need the entire screen, there are many people out there who can make a new one for you. Glass companies can do that.

Steven if you are talking about that property I looked at about 8 or 9 years ago I never bought into it.

Vintage Trailer Gaskets is my favorite. They used to be called Vintage Trailer Shop but the name changed after the video was made. Vintage Trailer supply also sells window gaskets but I have found that most of them don't fit well.
