Hello teacher. My name is Alexandre Araújo de Carvalho. I am 35 years old. I am from Brazil. I have been studying English for three hours. Thank you so much.
I just want to say you helped me and my friend a lot. We didn't understand any grammar concepts well and I discovered this channel the day before my exam.
I promised to watch your videos more often. Thank you Emma for all your online lessons which are practical for all the English learners around the world.
Emma thank so much ... I´m Braslian and I´m trying to make great my English. Tomorrow I´ll have a big exam about this grammar and you helped me a lot , so thank again You turned my favorite teacher
It was really useful lesson and your explanation was really clear and accurate. Thanks My examples: He told me not to eat fatty food. She asked me if I had tasted the food. They told her that the party had been a blast and they had enjoyed a lot. When I had cold she advised me to sip some herbal tea. They asked whether or not we were going to make a party. She wanted to know how many hours I had practiced for the exam.
These are fabulous examples of reported speech, Sha! There are a couple of corrections related to other grammar points that I'll highlight: They told her that the party had been a blast and they had enjoyed *it* a lot. When I had *a* cold she advised me to sip some herbal tea. They asked whether or not we were going to *have/throw* a party. Hint: Downloading Grammarly will help to highlight these little errors in your writing so you can keep improving! It's free to download and use: www.grammarly.com/mmmenglish
