Bro, you did an outstanding job on this model.. Remember, if you like it, it doesn't matter what someone else thinks.. I always say that I try to learn something every time I build a kit..I think you did an outstanding job.
Great job buddy, just got back into modeling myself. Same thing been a long time . Becomes overwhelming at times Especially seeing what other guys are putting out. The model world has changed so much in 50 years. Like I said before a great job feels good to get back into makes me feel like a kid again
That corvette was my re-introduction to model building as well. Yours is much better! The professionalism out there now compared to my old glue-sniffing days is extraordinary. Covid was a big help to expand my model collection, now I have been working on all my favorite cars and planes that I only saw in museums or someone else’s driveway.
Great job on both builds I appreciate your honesty all though you don't give yourself enough credit. You do good work. At 63 I am retired and too have found myself back into plastic model drilling after 40 some years. I have a lot to.learn as my first build being the USS Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier looks a bit amateurish. I bought the AMT '63 split window myself and am getting ready to tackle it over the next couple of weeks. Again great job.
Finally someone made decent looking AMT Vette. Been browsing videos for some time now, and most of them are really medium. This one is great. Especially considering you had 35 year lay off lol.
Ahh. Instructions were not very clear. And I'm not very experienced. ..if only someone would lend me their supercharged 63 Vette, I could learn a bit more. 😁
Trying to finish up the same model kit an it just won't let me lol!! It's a nightmare to get everything to line up. Can't let it beat me lol!! You did a great job on it.
This kit is very basic with not a lot of great detailing. With that and the fact that you haven’t built a model in 35 years you did an incredible job. Keep at it and your models in the future will be amazing.
Great job on both builds. I may be a little sceptial,. I’m 66 years old and recently got back into modeling. Please don’t be offended if I say that, that, judging from what I’ve gotten back into, but that looks a bit more experienced than someone who just built their first couple of projects in that time frame. I apologize in advance if I’m wrong. If you’re that skilled, good on you. If that being the case, maybe you can hone your skills and you could be a model master and a show winner.
@@CrappyBuilder Thank you! To be fair, I've always had artistic skills, and I dabble in customizing old toys. I just haven't done a model car or plane since I was a kid!

Thank you very much! And good luck with your 63, have fun with it!
Nice build man! The '63 is my favorite year of the Vette! And airbrushing is something that takes time to manipulate but you'll get there!
Thanks! Always been my favorite too. Ever since I bought this model kit as a kid!
Great to see you back at the bench… build on 👍
Thanks!

Hey thanks man! This was my dream car when I was 13. Still love it!
@@LastBastian You got it! I'm Vette fan my whole life, so looking forward for more builds!
@@loganit0 Awesome! ...wish the real C2's were more affordable! Haha!
Great job I’m 67 years old and just started my first build since 50 years. A revell 71 Cuda 426 and parts need tweaking, but that’s half the fun.
Nice! Have fun with it!
Great job,car stance is perfect for that build. Back after 40 years on and off aswell. Still learning everyday, keep at it
Thanks!
Good Work! Compadre!! Keep it up!!
Those are awesome builds and you did a great job! That's coming from a pro car builder of models to full size show cars.
Nice! Thank you!
good looking build
Thanks!
Good looking build!! 🤙🏼
Thanks!
Too great looking builds.🤓👍
Thanks!
I hear ya brother, always something to do .
Looks great! I do believe that the valve covers are on upside down. Four bots on the bottom, three on top.

Impressive!!
Nice job man I’m in the same process of learning and it’s fun though 🤣
Sure is! Good luck on yours!

I have a couple hot rod car models that I want to do, but haven't found the time yet.
What engine option did you use
