Mahesh is from my city Pune, State of Maharashtra, Country India. He is a fabulous Indian Classical Singer, student of late Jitendra Abhisheki (Abhisheki Buva). Buva was one the finest Indian Classical Singers in the World. (Also from Pune). Its talent plus more than 2 decades of practice. He is just mind blowing watch his other song kannada raja pandricha which he performed while being a guest in a music show. And please check kaushiki chakraborty a female singer she is also very good in this kind if singing
What he does is vocal juglary of seven notes of Indian music called: (sa re ga ma pa da ni sa). The Indian musicians randomly combine these notes in different permutations and combinations and come back to the combination without missing the place of a single note every time they do it. It takes 10 to 15 years of practice daily for 4-5 hours daily to get to this level of singing.
I am speechless that it blew her brain. How can she understand and enjoying this vocal dynamics which is something only cultural Indian singers can understand and enjoy.

Pandit is a honorific title in India. Like calling someone a grandmaster in the western hemisphere.
The language of this song is Marathi... He is a marathi guy... And according to me he is the master of the Indian classical music... Proud to be Indian and Maharashtrian😊

FYI.. Little fact that Indian classical music is the same classical music sung in both India(mostly northern) and Pakistan. (southern India has another Form carnetic classical music. Both very similar but little different) . This classical music is said to have tradition of thousands of years in this region of Indian subcontinent. Whereas India and Pakistan separated in just 1947.just so u know...although there are many other non classical genre in both countries.
