Timing was way off. I thought Conner forced a lot of throws against a top 10 defensive secondary that knows how to pick off passes. Collin trusted him to run the offense, but Conner never looked comfortable in the pocket. Which the Irish did extremely well.
The protection was solid. Only one sack, thats a significant improvement from what we saw last year. He missed many throws he usually makes and had happy feet all game. He needs to settle in and get his footwork down.
I don't think Notre Dame was elite. I thought our boys gave up at the end. It was a tight game, there was a lot of unforced errors and not enough explosive plays.
I’m a ND fan and there were definitely mistakes on both sides but those 2 turnovers were costly for y’all. Neither team played near their best game they’ll have of the year.
I really want Connor to do good but so what next pitch? Two totally different sports. A bad throw in baseball no big deal. How many balls can you throw before you are pulled? 12-30 means 18 balls? 4.5 hitters? He should have been benched for the 2nd half.
Time will tell about him. I think he has good games against mediocre opponents. I don't recall him playing well against a good team. I could have forgotten, though. I think he is a typical A&M QB. Never plays up to the hype. Having said that, I'm an Aggie. It seems like our second string QB is a gamer. Jimbo recruited this guy, not Elko. I think by the middle of the season, he will be on the bench.
It seems like he's not being honest with himself. It's much easier to say "I messed up, I need to do better" instead of, "I was scared I was gonna get hurt so I wasn't focused". One can be coached, the other can't. If he admits he was scared the QB battle will be back on at A&M
meh, he sux and he knows it; too scared after an injury, time to put up the cleats and play baseball; he cant handle the pressure and too scared to get hurt, not a good mix for a leader, risk taker and elite QB. Its over bro
Respect for him owning up and facing the media

I love A&M, but if that was 100%, I would hate to see 90% or 80%. We needed to change QB at halftime.
He got the yips. Hopefully he can get his head right. Good on him for getting in front of the media.
he will be back and better. I believe in Conner
The offensive line needs to do a better job protecting him. Clearly it is NOT all on him.

lol funny take. Morrison getting Thrown at about 5 times only letting one ball be caught very elite FYI. 😭😭.

He beat #5 LSU as a starter in 2022.

Complete nonsense
He needs to work on his mechanics. Look at most of his throws horrible mechanics.
