As someone who grew up in Pittsboro and moved away 20 years ago to California this was great to see, thanks for the video. To answer 2 of your questions, the mostly used courthouse is in the annex buildings, and the original courthouse was only used for big cases when I was a kid. It caught fire about a decade ago during restoration, I'm glad to see it that there isn't any evidence of the fire now. Chatham Park is a huge medical research center that is being built, they have been buying up land left and right. My husband and I are going to be moving back later this year and I'm getting a little excited about it now after watching your video.
The house at the very beginning was my grandmother's and great aunt's before that. I hate seeing it 'junked up' but it is what it is. P'boro was a nice place to grow up :)
