Well, Pittsboro, NC is certainly not the pitts. It appears to be a nice place with a lot of interesting shops. Another town that I've never heard of that I can visit. Thanks, Todd.

Put Town Creek Indian Mound on your trip list. State historic site in Montgomery county outside of Mt. Gilead. Strangely most people have never heard of it. Speaking of Mt. Gilead, the town has an interesting subplot. The locals are convinced a Bigfoot Sasquatch lives among them.
