- 20 years after making his tournament debut, Cristiano Ronaldo will once again be one of the star attractions at this summer's European Championships in Germany.
This will be his sixth Euro with Portugal, who continue to rely on their all-time top scorer and most-capped player to convert the chances they create. Ronaldo started 9 of the 10 qualifying matches and scored 10 goals, behind only Bruno Fernandes and Ruben Dias in terms of minutes played in Roberto Martinez's talented squad. He also scored two goals in a friendly match against the Republic of Ireland right before the Euro.
