Range is decent unless you have lot of walls between router & repeater which do interfere

Use the tp link app. Just plug in aur turn on the extender. Then follow the steps in the app.

Even I have the same question. Which one you bought?

@@akshaygandhi5892 bought a powerful router instead, although the range it covered was a little less than the extender but no reduction in the speed.

Getting lower speed?? Extender didn't work?

You're misunderstanding what a wifi extender does. You're using it to give an area in your house/apartment stronger wifi connection than it had before. So basically you're using this to give a room in your house a better wifi connection where it was previously a dead zone with minimal/no connection. It isn't going to be the full speed that you're getting from having a router in the same room because that's not what the extender is used for.

The extender appear to have slowed down your connection.

@@blakeandcamp yeah. this isn't..a very good solution. honestly, the better way is to run ethernet from your router to the 'dead' zone and setup a 2nd actual router here. put it in bridge mode, and make sure it's channels are as far from the others' as possible. this is the only way you won't lose speed/latency doing so. the extender is a band-aid, and a bad one at that.

This extender sucks. I bought it and it kept disconnecting from the router. I had purchased the RE210 model and it works great. I order this one for the basement and it completely sucks. And even when is connected I can’t access the web or TH-cam or just send a message. I returned and I’m getting another RE210.
