- This is the new CUPRA FORMENTOR with 1.5 TSI engine producing 150 HP! With awesome design and base price of 28.980 EUR, it could become a real hit on the market! Model in the video is finished in DESIRE RED Metallic color and has very nice 12-inch digital screen and 10-inch digital cockpit (standard). Trunk space id 420 litres, so car is also practical.

You are mistaken. Formentor has multilink rear suspension for every engine. No it is not like Leon/Octavia ;)

Thanks for your detailed review! I am considering whether or not I will go for the 2.0 TSI 4-wheel drive version or VZ one. Both versions seem to have the same engine but somehow with different power? Cuz it seems like they both use 2.0 TSI engine. Which one would you recommend?

Yes it is it’s a well known engine and would be my choice for this model
@@crospotter13 There have been recent well documented issues with this engine, information is easily available via Google.

In configurator in my country I can see DCC as option on standard petrol version too. Best is to ask the dealership I think

Cheeky question since you're showing several Cupra's, any chance of seeing the el-Born as well? =D Edit to answer your question about the logo: I really like it, with the pointy ends kind of reminds me of the Maserati logo which I've always found pretty neat.

Is the wraparound ambient lighting standard on this model?
No, but it's a very cheap extra.
Odd how the high level brake light is not high level, sort of defeats the purpose.
Hi, is the ambient lighting the same for the Formentor V1? The sales guy was saying that the V1 has the ambient lighting only on the door panels and not the cetre console line. Are you able to clarify?
not true it's same for all of them

A number of errors which you should not be making, given they give you a press pack and reading this should give you everything you need to avoid them...all Formentor cars at (including) 148BHP/150PS and above, have multi link rear suspension, no matter which market they are sold into.

Why not? Car next to it has 310 HP so if you want that you take that one. This increases the amount of customers and it’s a great move. Cupra is now standalone brand

Well not that it’s a standalone brand with it’s own models and not just the sporty version.
So Formentor will be available with various engines from 150 HP to 310 HP. Even the diesel 150 HP is coming in 2 months
Cupra seems to be aiming to become Seat's premium brand, not just performance division.

Bellissima l'auto. Io l'ho presa da poco nuova gia con problemi di rumori sulle ruote dietro quando sterzi le ruote davanti...mi e stata graffiata dal meccanico ma riverniciata...insomma un calvario con il rumore ancora presente. Il problema e che il sistema di infotainment e lentissimo... se il volume e alto quabdo accendi l'auto devi aspettare 10..50 secondi per abbassare finche nn si allinea bene il sistema. In piu quando usi la tastiera del navigatore e lentissimissima per scrivere e cercare la via...bella macchina ma non perfetta per i soldini che costa!
