I suppose knp I do say to mark quite often we dont realize how lucky we are and I suppose we do take some of it for granted and we really shouldn't at all. Thank you for your kind comment I do really appreciate it. We will be trying to get back out again soon waiting for weather to calm now and hopefully get around work to lol

@@C3BFA .sunday just gone was supposed to be our 1st crack at them .forcast the previous eve ,showing light s,east dropping away .my mate comming down early traveling a fair way. by 6am it was clear that the wind was 2 strong .absolutley gutted .
Same with us today up at 4am drove for over an hour got out and said to mate this ain't happening this is picking up checked forcast and it had changed from night before. This weather isn't right for this time of year and it was freezing Aswel

Same here I said the same to my mate it has to break soon. But we have gotta take the boat back south to its mooring we can't stay where we are it's too expensive on top of his original mooring so it will be taken back the end of the week I think

Great video Dave, I was out last weekend and every time a full string of mackerel came up. I was probably just over a mile out of Aberystwyth marina and drifted down to patches reef, My target species is tope, do you think I might get one of patches reed?
Get some more of those fresh mackerel and even put on on live you will get tope. Try by the gap if you know where that is you will definitely pick up the tope especially with live or fresh bait
You will definitely pick the tope up there. If you can use live baits if you can't keep them live fresh is fine and anything is fine mackys, Pollock, pout, bream they will take anything. Bream is probably the best bait
Clear water and low water if out on a kayak Ben you want the tide moving either ebb or flood is fine slack water can be slow fishing find reef area with kelp or look for birds diving over reef areas theres lots of bass fishing videos on my channel it's probably my favourite type of fishing tbh
