and pokemon battles are considered a professional sport, hence the existence of gyms and the pokemon league, and the fact that trainer IDs, often in the form of a card or a pokedex, are a thing.

Counterpoint: Jumba and Pleakley moved in with the family, and arguably did not go through immigration themselves, so while there might not be a crime with Stitch, as a legally adopted pet, there might be a crime with harboring the two of them.

5:30 OBJECTION! This argument assumes that Dora is keeping Boots against his will, which is not the case. Throughout the show, he has shown that it is his choice to go along with Dora, and she in no way owns him.
This is in contrast to Scooby-Doo, who frequently wants to leave dangerous situations, but is coerced into staying due to the promise of treats.
Actually, according to Mousait’s video on the crimes Gru commits, he would get jail time for stealing the moon, but he would be pardoned because he put the moon back afterwards.
I believe even if you put it back you would still be charged. It might be some states in the United States of America but I am unsure due to being from Australia.

Actually Mike, Pokémon fighting in captivity is safer because they naturally fight each other in the wild and don’t get healed. It’s the equivalent of humans playing sports.

Laws of Pokemon would be irrelevant to their world, especially for how normal it is. Probably (non-consensual) trafficking (if they traded) is the furthest he could be charged.
This is all well and good. There's just one problem. As the worlds biggest (casual) Lilo and Stitch fan, I'm obligated to be infuriated by this... Her name is Nani.
I don’t know about the Scooby-Doo one, they were asked to find a bad guy in disguise, this is why they broke and entered into all the buildings, so I think they might be pardoned. If not, the would only be charged with breaking and entering, not the other crimes, this is because they had permission from people to go into the buildings, they would be charged with breaking and entering if they didn’t have permission to enter the building(s).

OK, I’m subscribed and I love your channel but you gotta understand that Pokémon battling is literally normal where they come from even enjoy it, especially when they have trainers brother sides and it’s not a big deal. It’s really entertaining actually have a good trainer that they won’t mind fighting for them sides like I said enjoy it and they seem to have a blast while doing it even thanks man❤

No way a man with almost no knowledge on Pokemon said Ash would be arrested for animal fighting. Pokemon Battles are common sport in that universe. Officer Jenny isn't just one day gonna go, "I'm placing you under arrest for the crime of using Vine Whip in a normal, friendly Pokemon battle."

Don't forget to add some form of illegal gambling to Ash's charges considering people either gain or lose money depending on if they win.
That's much more likely to stick considering that it could be argued that fighting is just something pokemon like doing, even in the wild and could be considered necessary to the species mental well being. (This is all just from what I remember reading a long time ago.)
