I really feel like there should be unlimited sick days. You can't choose how many days you're going to be sick and it defeats the point if you go to work anyway and spread the disease. If someone has an unusual amount of sick days you can require them to get a health physical or find out if they have a chronic disease, or require a doctor's note for an absence or more than 2 days.
Yes and what's really cool about that, it gives the person an opportunity to discover if something really is wrong with them. Can't get better if you're forced to come in.
So, go into a Dr's office while sick around other sick people 🤢

No im the kind of person that wants perfect attendance xD instead my mom is like ashley i think ur sick and im like I THINK UR LYING!! XD shes the one wanting meh to stay home LOL (this school year i had perfect attendance :))
Nah, once I literally projectile vomited and was still sent to school, this was when I was around 7, but the good news is I have pretty much never been ill since!!

Ashley's not the only "nerd" I also strive for perfect attendance, as I have had it since kindergarten. But now that I'm going to high school next semester, like someone else said, there's no point, too much extra work. And no, I've never tricked my parents into staying at home :)
What's worse is when you're actually not sure if you're sick or if it's just your hay fever kicking in again.

I remember once when Jen from accounting was really sick, so sick she fainted. I was the only one who noticed and I uhhh took advantage of the situation ;)
A that's a main reason why I love living in Germany. When you're sick, you get a doctor's note saying how long you'll probably be unable to work and you get paid your full wage up to six weeks out of work. The end. And you still have a Minimum of 20 vacation days a year.
These guys are great, Anna has the cutest sneeze.
Also what's up with having a certain amount of sick days, is that standard in the states or company by company? I can take as many sick days as I want as long as they're certified by a Dr over 3 in a row. It's great!
