  • Good morning and welcome to our Free Weekly Classes. This morning we are going begin learning how to complete Continuous Edge to Edge quilting with your embroidery machine. This technique is fantastic for those wanting to make the most of their embroidery machines, and create gorgeous quilting designs at home.
The designs I am working with are from the Continuous Quilting Feathers designs. We have a lot of different continuous quilting designs, that you can use for this technique.
Products I have used in this class:-
    Designs juliehalldesig...
    MagnaPins juliehalldesig...
    Increditape juliehalldesig...
    Wonderfill Fabulux thread juliehalldesig...
    Organ Needles juliehalldesig...
If you are joining us via youtube, consider joining our fb group, Locked In Stitchers, / lockedinstitchers where we give away the occasional freebie, and share lots of inspiration.
As always, please feel free to ask questions, and share your experiences with us.
The machine I am working on today is the #JanomeCM17. This is the latest embroidery machine by #Janome, and comes with an insane maximum hoop size of 11x18”. Check out this amazing machine at your local #JanomeDealer

I'm late to the party, but I appreciate your tips on edge-to-edge quilting on an embroidery machine. Lots of great suggestions, caveats, and recommendations on tools. Off to go find some more of your videos. Totally enjoy your brand of humor, too!

Hi Julie . I watched your tutorial on using magnets on your embroidery machine. I tried it out and it worked. I do have the Dime Magnetic Hoop and I have a hard time using them, separating the hoops. Your way was so much easier. I want to thank you for sharing your tutorial. 😊

Hi Julie I’m from Ontario Canada and watching the replay. I’m encouraged to keep trying. I use Designs by Juju end2end designs. I have a Janome 550E which I really love working with it. I think I have been overthinking my work i feel. I’m going to try my next quilt with working top,to bottom. Thanks sew much!

Hi Simone - they will hold a 3 layer quilt sandwich, I have done one using thicker wadding and a flannel fabric and it held fine.
