What a great very comfortable wide bed and long no sagging I’m 11.5 stone 5 ft 7 iam able to turn around in sleep system it’s not tight and you are able to to seal the warm in in around you head and neck but still move around big baffles stops drafts Ii looked at lots of beds but for the money it’s better than I expected
Carp spirt do a really comfortable bed chair! I’m 6ft 3 and heavy! Managed to get my hands on a magnum xl bag and it’s brilliant so got the bed chair to match £220 and it’s brilliant 👍 just saying as not everyone can spend 300/400 plus on a bed! Tight lines all
@@YanksandBritsProductions buy nice or buy twice dude 👌🏼 I have wasted plenty of money over the years. One thing I have definitely learned is the advice given. A good example is I once bought a bed for about £120 it broke in a very short time and spent £300 anyway after it on a decent bed. So effectively I spent £120 I really didn’t need to. It’s happened with everything from reels, rods, brolly systems and nets the lot. I bet I have wasted over 1k easily. I think the best thing to do is hold out and save for what you want if cash flow is a problem.
It’s very very comfortable I am very impressed with mine i weight 12 stone plenty of room to move around i don’t zip the side I get out and I don’t get any drafts my pillow doesn’t fall off Its keep me warm at 5c and iam a cold side sleeper the only down side it’s heavy
My chub xl with built in pillow is the best bed chair I've ever had and Westlake bag from go outdoors is fantastic. 160 for both and it's the best sleep I get all week .
We just bought 2 of these for camping. Can you please explain how to keep this bed in good condition for many years? How does it cope with moist, do I need a waterproof cover, maybe a waterproof picnic blanket, or can I just directly sleep on it for a few weeks, fold it down and put it away in my luggage trailer (kept outside) until the next time?? Any tips please?? Thanks!!
Well id personally if you really want to use it that much, just put a bed sheet on with maybe a mattress protector on there and wash it when you get home that way no moist or anything will get to the stretcher!
Great review as always. Appreciate Joe being back, missed the curly carper. Give Luke a rest, he’s been working hard lol. Question tho...what bed do you own Joe?
@@kieranlawrenson cheers for the reply, fair point. With fishing being an escape for a lot of people, to try & get away from the bad times at the moment & with money being tight, due to furlough, redundancy ect, be nice to see some fishing gear from the manufacturers with this in mind.
@@richpeas1924 totally understand mate they still are expensive even when there on the "cheap" end and its unfortunate for people that aren't as lucky as some. There is ways around it like buying second hand. I bought a near new trakker els and brand new chub vantage bag for £60 off ebay which was an absolute steel which could of easily resold for 300quid but got looking finding it early.
Why aren't locking legs a standard thing these days on all bed chairs? Picking your ass off the floor really sucks. Intelligent design please. I brought my first one a few years ago and soon wanted to take a hammer to it for not having locking legs ffs!

If you buy the bag and bed chair it’s the same price as a sleep system if not more so the saving money part doesn’t make sense.

Is it the westlake dew point 1 because if it is I can back this comment!
I’m 5’10 and 16 stone. It really keeps you a great temperature at night and is quite comfortable but is a little firm for me.

I have a nash mf60 5 season
@@nuffinbutfishing i thought you might say that. I have just pre ordered the mk2 SS4 hope it’s worth it 👍
How about doing some videos of fishing gear that you don't need deep pockets for, perhaps a budget range for your normal angler.
We quite often cover cheaper gear. Sonik, prologic, jrc ect
Id say this does cover the average angler, cant find a sleep system for much cheaper really nothing compared to the nash indulgence and so on
@@nuffinbutfishing I appreciate your reply Joe.

i have this bed only problem i find is the weight
Does the r2 cover fit this? i got this sleep system for 237 from total fishing tackle and wondering if r2 cover fits?
Am wondering how much weight it can handle, i cant find any information on that matter. Would appreciete someone who knows to answer!
I am wondering to how much degrees the sleeping bag keep you warm
I didn't realise Ronnie Corbet was an angler.
Far too heavy!!! Even the bed on it's own is ridiculously heavy.

I’ve started a vlog after watching your videos on here, let me know what you think of the first video 🤷🏻♂️😬🤞🏻
Anyone know if this it to big to go in a brolly system
My R3 bed fits fine inside my ultra 60 so dont see why the r2 would not
