You have no business shooting 800-1000 yards at an animal.

I don’t usually waste my breath pointing out the obviously dumb shit that appears in youtube hunting content but I had to in this case.

I would agree! It stops being hunt at that distance. You can tell he’s even surprised. Just shows you he has no clue what he’s doing. What happened to ethics????

Funny how judgmental people are and think they no somebody they have no clue who this guy is. If he didn't think he could make the shot he wouldn't have taken it. He's been hunting his entire life and you have no clue.

Look at his response. He was questioning himself on film. And look how far the second shot was off. I don’t care how long his hunted or how many things his killed . You put yourself out there on film shooting 820 yards at anything you better believe people are going to respond as well. People are passionate about the sport of hunting and want to preserve it. It doesn’t help the sport in my opinion to be filming kill shots at that distance, just like when others are shooting a bow at 100 yards or 80. 99.9 % just want to get it on film for their TH-cam or other social media platforms and couldn’t care less about the thing they are killing. Makes hunters look really dumb.

820 first shot cold bore impressive.
I had to go back and watch it again. You can see impact on first shot, but miss on the second shot
    Great bull. Great footage!

Are u referring to the first set up shots or the second? I think he hit that bull with the first shot, missed the second, they reset then i think he hits it again with the third shot and then bombs the forth shot by 3 or 4 feet. It seemed like none of them including the shooter had no freakin clue what shot went where and if any shots hit or missed the bull. They was all so confused and unsure of everything. Looked like a bunch of maybe's, hopefully's and fingers crossies haha by all of them. Im still watching and wanna see if they actually show shot placement but id guess that dont get shown

Yea id love to actually see the shot placement on the bull and see some better footage played back to try to see where the shots all really went. Im not even sure if i was correct on shots 1 and 3 hitting the bull but who knows. Id also like to know how long it was between the two setups cause if shot 1 was a hit how long did the bull have to wait for the finishing shot that put him down. Yea bro if ur so far out that ur spotters cant see whats happening then its probably to far of a shot thats just one good tell sign ya know. But id like to see better footage all around to be sure it was the same bull both setups. Im sure it is but id like to see some details to make sure of a few things but nice bull glad it all worked out and no lost animal or anything crazy like that ya know. Congrats and hopefully next time u get a bit closer just to make sure everything goes as planned and eliminate as many possibilities of something going bad as u can ya know. Not so much guess work on where the bulls been hit and what not. Hiking away from the side by side a bit just makes it that much more exciting anyhow. Again congrats hes a great bull no matter how much crap u get from everyone haha
