There were 5 of us! 😉 babe, bri, v, My dad and myself!

Hahha will do man! Good to hear from you!
Nice work you guys! Incredible footage and what a day of crabbing!
Thanks man!! It was definitely a crazy crab day!
Your ropes should be put in 5 gallon buckets, this will keep them from tangling.
I wanna get some dungess tired of the red rock at the dock up in Edmonds wa
I just subscribed to your channel!
Don't know about where you live but bacon in Tennessee is very expensive. Better get a good mess of crabs to pay for the bacon. lol Good luck!!
A pack can run 4 to 5 bucks. One crab runs about 10 to 15 bucks a pound. We got 50 or so crab that day. The crab can run 1-4 pounds each.
Dude, You crushed it! Now all you gotta do is get a more user friendly Hoist!
Awesome! I’m a new subbie ;)
Thanks for the sub!
Unclipping the buoy before starting to pull the line would have me worrying about losing the line from the block.
Looking back it would for me too.
Wow. Yummy. Take me with you. 😂
How many licensed people on the boat…? You do know there’s only a 12 crab limit per person in Oregon. That’s a hefty fine my friend.
5 of us! As stated in the beginning of the video!
Crazy pots! Why are limits so low?
Thanks! 12 per person, not bad for dungeness. I believe California is only 5 or 6. But we should be asking! We want more.
@goatinaround4948 oh 12...ok that's better! I thought it was 6
When you go to steam your crabs 🦀 , add a third of a cup of white vinegar, and for eight crabs 🦀 a half cup! White vinegar does two things #1it prevents the meat from sticking to the shell and #2it makes the meat taste sweeter! You will NOT TASTE ANY VINEGAR AT ALL! I wish that I had some fresh crabs 🦀 but being disabled I am unable to go crabbing because there isn't any place around here that is a scooter or wheelchair accessible! Oh yes I just saw this video today!
Yeah putting them In ice water will keep them from sticking also! I appreciate the hits I'll have to try it! There are lots of spots you can get to!
@@goatinaround4948 Not where I live in Washington State!
Lame!!
@GoatinAround YOU SAY IT IS A LAME EXCUSE BUT ALL THE ACCESS ARE ON A STEAP HILL, I CAN GET DOWN ON MY SCOOTER BUT NOT UP! THE HILLS ARE ABOUT 40 TO 50 DEGREE SLOP AND MY SCOOTER CAN'T CLIMB IT BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER TO DO SO! I CHALLENGE YOU TO COME AND PUSH THE 400-POUND SCOOTER WITH ME ON IT UP 45-YARD LONG HILL!
Noo lame as they don't have good access!
Not one soft shell?
50 Crab and only 3 people onboard... sounds like a ticket
Good thing there was 5 of us!!!hahah
oh stop your bitching and mind your business. I dont care if he got 8 crabs with two people.
U blind af
Lol there were more than 3!
Was this in Oregon? What area were you in and what depth of water?
This was in oregon. Garibaldi. No more then 20 feet.
@@goatinaround4948 Thanks! I really appreciate you responding. Not many do.
I'm going to be rv'ing fulltime soon and am trying to figure out what I'm going to use to get me and my 60lb dog out on the water.
I went from canoe to kayak to folding boat to a heavy duty inflatable zodiac. I'll be pulling a 35 foot travel trailer so I'm thinking pulling a boat behind that would t really be an option.
Do you have any suggestions for me?
@JOBO_BLEVINS yeah no problem. It really all depends on what you are trying to do with the boat/floating device. 35 feet that's long! I wouldn't want to tow a boat either! I mean you've tried a lot of things already!
Saturday at 3:00pm
if u want to kill them fast keep them upside down.Keep them right side up is best.
Ture, it's just hard to keep that many crab to behave!
You said the second pot was all males. Can you show us the difference between male and female?
Yeah no problem. I think I have shown in some of my other crab videos but I'm lways down to show again.
I noticed your chicken had a brine applied to it. Can you elaborate?
Just some pro cure over night.
Thanks. I’ve been trying to use a bait in the ocean that the sea snails won’t destroy. Lol
In LaPush, they immediately destroy any fish, was going to try chicken but I think the procure might attract the snails.
The snails are definitely crazy I try 3 or 4 different baits at once
Do they hit chicken or bacon (never tried bacon)?
@My Back Yard bacon is my go to. I usually put chicken bacon shad and trout in the pots.
Could you share the ocean GPS coordinates for crab grounds?
Do you know where twin Rock is?! We go out to about 20 feet or so. Not sure if that helps.
Where's this Washington
It's in oregon
Hi
Taking the buoy off before getting a few feet of rope coiled was a questionable practice, how people lose pots.
Hahah yeah probably! Good thing we didnt!!
@@goatinaround4948 other than that, excellent video. I've always had great luck in Garibaldi over Newport. What depth were you guys setting in?
dead uncooked crab is not healthy. The truck bed looked like they were all dead and not cooked.
Nope not dead at all!
What was your soak time?
It was 5 or 6 hours I believe. We went fishing and came back.
@ 4:32 nice granny knot, seriously learn to tie a proper knot your life could depend on it!
Thanks for watching!
