#emergencypreparedness #disaster #preparation
When the main stream starts talking about prepping...you know the disaster is right around the corner.
Absolutely 🥹… was thinking the same.
Yes, absolutely 💯
When mainstream starts talking about prepping, be prepared CHAOS is round the corner.
💯💯💯
Us “preppers” aren’t so crazy after all! 😆 And thank you Al for mentioning pets! They’re furry family too! Would also add, have a small portable camping or backpacking stove for heating up meals and disinfecting water! Also good idea might be water treatment pills or an inexpensive water filter! All of these items and more are available inexpensively at most Walmarts!
My Emc bags have the Following
#1 tent
#2 Sleeping bag
#3 extra clothing
#4 trap
#5 matches ,lighters
#6 food : Cans , pans , forks etc
#7 important documents
#8 protection
#9 spare Shoes
#10 personal items (female items)
August 2023 we had a flood. All my preps were stored in a nice cool basement. The flood wiped out all my preps. Waterproof means nothing when they are swimming in sewer water. Mold and bacteria was growing faster than everything could be disposed of. Many years of prepping taken out by one bad rain storm in one night. Lived in this house over 40 years with never a leak in the basement, but that meant nothing when the city sewers couldn't handle the amount of rain that fell in one evening. Diversify where you store your preps.
Suggestions?
@@moneemitchell1227 I do have stuff stored in a barn with a cement floor, but it's not the best place because of hot summers and cold winters. I only store freeze dried foods there. I also have several boxes in the living room but it's not attractive. I never get company, so it's not an issue for me. Some store under beds and also use boxes as side tables by covering with an attractive cover. There are lots of videos on TH-cam with lots of great ideas. Basements are usually the best place. What happened was just a rare event. I laugh at myself though because I stored up for a disaster, and it was a disaster that took out my preps. How can you prep against an act of G-d? That's what the city called the event so they wouldn't have to pay for damages.
@@patriciaribaric3409odd to say all that, yet censor God.
@@yep-sb4uf Not a censor; it's a sign of respect.
@@patriciaribaric3409 respect to whom?
Big correction! The emergency food bucket items are NOT ready to eat, unless they’re beans or rice, they’re freeze-dried ingredients. You must add water to every pouch except the granola. The pouch will tell you how much hot water you need to add. I have sterno fuel and a stand to hold a pot. Please do your own research!
@@ES-7766 technically you can still eat them, just need to drink a lot of water with it too lol
At least 7 days. It took the U.S. government 7 days to respond to Katrina victims.
If you can have even two weeks of non perishable ready to eat canned or packaged food for your family is even better along with water stored or a way to collect and purify water
No electric or water for 10 days... and it was our Snowmaggedan (sp?) lol.. We survived because we were mostly ready.. It was something, NO ONE thought would happen in Central Texas... Good thing I was raised up n down the Rocky Mountains, from Montana to Texas.. lol
So they’re tryna tell us something huh 🤔
Seems like it huh🤔
Prepping becoming mainstream!
3 day supply. Oh please. Try at least 1 month.
Just love Vicky Nguyen! We miss her in the Bay Area. You go girl!
You are going to need much more than that for what’s coming our way. Buckle up it’s going to be a rough road. 🤦🏻♂️
To me it is actually scary that they are pushing the 3 day supply. That tells me they are planning on something happening and they will rollout martial law and total control of all supplies but need 3 days to implement it.
What's coming our way?
You better get a personal protection device… pew-pew and know how to use it ..!
That bucket is 3 days not 4, and you MUST have water for all of it.
Glad you all covered this!
Holy cow, people still aren't prepping? Must be nice to be in lala land.
Welp an emergency is about to happen 🤷🏽♀️
Personal Protection too!!!
GUNS, KNIVES, medical kits!
💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸
Get a 3 month supply of your meds at Costco. They do that. So im emergency you have a good supply of meds
What do you know that you’re not telling us
You already know you just don't want to believe
@@SlackersIndustry
🧐😜👍
Just get rice , noddles , cereals, saltine cans
You can tell these are not preppers,, just people who think they know best, without any real world experience.
Lady talking about survival and she focusing on the lady shoes.... smfh.. Doomed
Don’t waste your money on that solar battery bank. Get a solar panel with USB ports on it and a regular USB battery pack. If you have a bit more to spend I’d recommend something like a Bluetooth AC2A and a 100W solar panel. If you really have money to spend they make power stations that will power your refrigerator and microwave.
Beautiful and deserving journey...its the smile for me😊
THIS IS CONFORMATION THAT SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN
Problem i am had here in Houston is i don't have trees but all my neighbors had untrimmed trees
I fail to see the relevance.
GET A LOT OF WATER FILTERS WATER STORAGE FOOD AND SELF DEFENS TOOLS 💯
They could have done a much better job on this, too much joking too much focus on paperwork totally useless coverage. Anna In Ohio
But her shoes!😂
Lol something gunna happen.
That’s right. Get the people used to the idea of self-sufficiency. Good job, SHTF is here…
If you have a ton of those emergency radios, they coming for them too.
Guns?? Ammo??
Aaannnnnd you're on a list lol
The shoes really are awesome ❤
Really? They look like a bunch of…”eggplants” to me 👀😅
So what's the emergency that we're supposed to be preparing for?
Do nothing and find out.
@@rogerhayes5223 find out what?
I don't like the shoes 😆
So we are not at war right???
Interesting
People who watch this show are the ones to he wary of when it hits the fan. 😅
The fact that this is even a thing I wild.
and have a gun on hand, they don't mention that? why would you need that?
Prepping has gone m mainstream...finally.
Puerto rican suitcases and yourre go to go
Climate change is real, and we live in a very violent society now. Power grid will be shaky as climate worsens. At least do something. Little by little get things together. Glad the hosts were so serious, for a serious topic. Shoes. Really?
