I can't believe Fluffy hasn't been on before. The man is one of the easiest interviews since the Great Robin Williams passed. Just give Fluffy a topic, and watch the man work his magic.
It was a surprise when he said that. I've been watching him for over a decade(?) and other than one show on Netflix he has been great. I'm not sure if it was that one show where one of us was having a bad day. Lol if I could remember the name I'd watch it again. 🤣😂🤣😂🖖💕

My daughter, her dad, stepmom and I went and saw Gabriel Iglesias in person on Feb 19, 2022 in Memphis Tennessee. He is funny as all heck. We laughed hard the whole time.
It was the first time my daughter ever saw him. Now she wants to go see him every time he comes back in town.
Literally the most genuine and hilarious comedian. He will go down as legendary.

I love this guy. He's one of the best comics of the last 20 years. Sharp as a razor, quick as a wink, and truly seems like a genuinely nice guy.

It's crazy to think how long it's been. I used to see him at the local comedy club in El Paso way back in the early 2000s when I was in college. He was hilarious then and still is!

Stephen gives the impression that he really doesn't know how to talk with Gabriel. It's as if he only recently researched the Fluffster.

I met Gabriel years ago in The Netherlands after a show and we had a conversation about some random stuff and it felt like I had known him for years. He's in real even funnier than in his shows and absolutely genuine in his behaviour and always very humble. Great comedian and an even greater person.
I have been a fan of Fluffy for a long time. The questions Stephen asked made it look like either he really knew nothing about him, or thinks his audience knows nothing about him. I hope the bring him on more! He is always great 😎

Yes. Two things stood out. First, when Gabriel said that he was surprised they hadn't met before, insinuating that they were both entertainers that might move in the same circles, Stephen said there were a lot of people in the world, insinuating that Gabriel was just a random person. Secondly, he didn't know that he was known as Fluffy. If you know ANYTHING about Gabriel Iglesias, you know he is called Fluffy. Very strange. How can you be in the comedy business, and not know Gabriel Iglesias?

Easy: Because being a producer of comedy isn't the same thing as being a consumer of comedy. I'm willing to bet Colbert's got a full plate without adding 'personally know of every significant/talented comedian in the business' to it.
Same as just because I'm a hair stylist, doesn't mean I know every single major/talented hair stylist. We're only human, there are bound to be people we just don't get exposed to, and time is extremely limited for much else when you're kept legitimately busy.
His interview was quite cold. He wasn't as warm to Gabriel as he sometimes is with other guests.
I didn’t think so. Stephen came off as being pleasantly surprised to me. That big brown shield bit cracked him up. I’m sure will see Fluffy booked again.

I just went to one of his shows last week and it was amazing. After his set was over he brought out a cooler and started to drink alcohol on stage lol. He warned the audience that the show was over and he was just gonna hang out with the audience and talk freely( meaning he was gonna curse and talk about things not suitable for children). Gabriel Iglesias is awesome.
He is one of the most talented and genuine comedians on the planet. Watch his sets on how he traveled to India and to Saudi Arabia. He's bringing the world together through comedy. Go Fluffy!

Fluffy is simply one of the most awesome people EVER! I love this gentleman, he simply can do nothing wrong, and should have a regular spot in this show, once a week a least.

He’s not even the style of comedy I generally go for and I love this guy.
I noticed that the joke almost went over Colbert's head. Fluffy scratched his cheek, making a reference to his skin color. When Colbert doesn't get the mark right away, Fluffy adds the "Big Brown shield" comment. Fluffy is quick with his responses and knows how to read people/audiences when they don't get the joke. He certainly knows his craft. Awesome, simply awesome.

His part in his t.v. show Mr. Inglesias was absolutely my favorite show ever. I taught middle school for 37 years. I could identify. The show had some pretty "intense, real-life" applications. Gabriel should win an oscar. Fluffy is number 1 in my book! His real character shows a man of integrity and honor.
