Dear i have same car with same color. I want to know few things 1) How to drive car with manual gear? How to change 1st to 2 nd to other. 2) How to drive on steep hill? coz since it suddenly loose speed and stop on steep hill 16:13
For drive in manual mode first move gear selector to A and then shift it left for manual mode. Car will be in first gear. If you want to change to 2nd gear, push the selector to front. While driving on steep inclines, if you need to stop then apply parking brake with normal brakes. Once you need to move, switch to A, remove foot from break, start accelerating till vehicle starts moving slightly and remove parking brake.
If you are specifically looking for AMT, you can consider this else you can opt for DCA which is a smoother transmission. So far I have a good experience with my Nexon.
Thanks.. Is AMT good for hill states does it ride easily steep heights or there is any problem. We have to shift on manual mode for hills or AMT is enough??
Though i do not have a day to day experience of driving my car on hills, for me AMT performed well in managing the hill roads and incline. However, we have to agree that there is a computer that manages the gear shifts and it may not be as per our expectations on hills. I generally use manual mode because it helps me adjust power and change gears when needed for both uphills and downhills. Downhills the car will not change gear unless engine revolutions are high enough. Uphills it will change gear even before we want it in case the incline is long as the gear change is speed dependent. But you also get a clutchless manual if you consider driving an amt in manual mode.
I dont really have a comparison between XZA+S and Creative+S. Would advise you to take the better version if you have budget. Its always better to have the additional features.
Such a fine gentleman and your way of explaining things are quite different from others. So soothing. Although I am planning to buy a XUV 300 Automatic, your video helped a lot in realising better about AMT transmission.
Our experience has been great so far. No rusting issues or anything of that sort. Though my car has always been parked in covered parking. Have done soo many trips and always found the car v comfortable.
Hello sir, how do you manage between the driving modes of the car. I have a xza+ and i am not really happy with the mileage part, doesnt give more than 10 in city and highways gives around 13. Any tips how you manage the mileage in 10-13 range in city
Mileage in city is generally less. I try to keep a light foot on the accelerator most of the time. On highways I try and keep the car in 6th gear. Mostly using city mode and 6th gear comes at speed of 85 kmph. Post that the rpm reduces and car gives good mileage as well. Plus keep ur car serviced as recommended.
In Gear eco mode is mostly used, but How about AMT in nexon explain when we should use city and eco modes and whats their mileage and performance. can we change modes frequently? and if we use manual grears very frequently in AMT does that AMT system fails TO quick ?
Use city mode for city use. It will give you better power for city drive. When cruising on highway, you can use eco mode to save fuel. You can also drive AMT in manual mode as much as you want. Nothing will fail unless the driving habit is such that the clutch wears off.
Hi, havent taken a test drive of the 2023 model. But mostly AMT would be in general jerky if you accelerate hard. You wont feel the jerks if you accelerate moderately or in a relaxed manner. I have got used to the way the gearbox needs to be driven and have a good experience so far.

Brezza automatic is different than Nexon AMT. Test drive before you buy. Nexon is very robust and has great handling. For me I havent faced any major issues yet. Maintenance cost has been around 8000 per year for me since paid services have started.
@@ThatWanderingCoupleIndia Thank you 😊 for your reply Planning to buy XMA amt variant ? Sahi rahe ga ye variant because I don't want sunroof . What about the mileage you are getting now, tank to tank ?
Thanks for your honest feedback on the mileage. Fyi to all - for the Nexon amt at starting you would get something around 9-10 and that can go to 11 max (with ac). All the other blog showing 17/19 even 20+ are bakwaas. I don't know who pays them for those unnatural propaganda but those are fake.
Thankyou very much for sharing the overall information. Just wanted to know in city and highways what is the maximum mileage that the car can give? I know it's fully depends upon the driving quantity but still if you can provide this information as you have driven in both terrains.
On highways the car recently gave me 20+ kmpl on Samruddhi Mahamarg trip. Generally maintained speeds of 90-100 kmph. Generally it gives me 18-20 kmpl on highways. In city it’s v less. In Mumbai I get 11-12 kmpl and sometimes even less due to heavy traffic.
@@ThatWanderingCoupleIndia okay so the above mileage is totally from automatic transmission and using which mode (sports, city, economy) ? One more query regarding the mileage . Have you ever tried using the manual mode in the city or highways throughout the journey instead of automatic and what is the mileage coming out to be? In one of the content one owner was claiming he usually drives in manual mode to get better mileage using the same AMT variant. I am going to buy AMT hence need some help on these things.
AMC purchase during first year may not be very helpful unless your running is v high. AMC will include some consumables which might be useful if you have high usage.
Mine went off at 1.5 years. Especially with the cold weather the battery deteriorated quickly. Specific gravity of acid had changed. Replaced it with a 5 yr warranty battery.
In city you can expect 12-14 depending on traffic conditions. For seniors it may get a bit difficult to get in because they need to lift their feet a bit higher. However, overall comfort level is top notch.
I planned to book Nexon XZA AMT but in test drive i found there is some gear shifting delay and i can feel the gear change each time, also heard that Nexon petrol AMT will cause gear box and engine issue in long run... Because of the above reasons i put my decision on hold... I actually very interested in Nexon petrol AMT,can anyone please suggest can i go for AMT or manual? How about diesel AMT? My usage is limited and mostly inside city and yearly once go for long trip.. Any suggestions will be much appreciated... Please help...
There will be some delays in gear shifting in initial gears. You wont feel it if you drive sedately. Remember that AMT is a derivative of manual transmission but does all the jobs of a automatic. Nexon petrol AMT is absolutely reliable. Buy a diesel only if you have daily usage. Rest take a decision based on your requirement. If you need automatic and want to buy nexon, go ahead with AMT. Nexon is a v good car.
City Mode me 2nd to 3rd Gear shifting happens at 37 which is too high…this eats up mileage specially in city drive ….manual me toh 33 ke speed pe 3rd gear shifting allow karta hai
Yeah. This is so that car ko ample power mile. Anyways manual mode mein car full power mein hoti hai (sports mode) isliye kam speed pe gearshift allow karta hai.

Post my 2 year major service I am getting 12-13 in Mumbai. On highways it gives a decent mileage of 18-20 kmpl depending on terrain and traffic. All with AC.
Very nice n honest review. I also owned Tata Tiago XZA+ & giving same performance as you mentioned in video. I think you should remove "L" from both front n back view as you have completed 2 years n 24K KM running. I know its a lifetime learning process but you are putting video on social media, it will be -ve impact on users. Very difficult to identify actual "L" vehicle now a days. Mileage reviewed should be given as city run n outside city or long drive run...etc.
Agreed. But there is hardly any quiet space in Mumbai. However, we would definitely try using a better mic for better voice output. Thanks for the feedback !!
Thank you for the reply. I understand your difficulty. Now i am thinking of buying tata nexon AMT. For which your video is quite useful. Thanks for your effort.
Thank you for the lovely feedback !!! Ofcourse manual is more reliable due to lesser automation. But the convenience that an automatic transmission brings is extremely useful.
Sir, I am looking forward to purchase nexon amt. As you have covered about 25k kms, I have bunch of questions regarding car. 1. Mileage on Highway? 2. Now the XZA+HS model comes with cruise control option which costs 1Lakh more than XZA+. Does cruise control help in getting good mileage on highways? Or there's no link between both? 3. Any rusting issues you've faced so far?
Mileage on highway with AC is 18-20 for me. Cruise control is good on highways if you want to just maintain a constant speed. Infact I dont see much link between cruise control and better mileage. Instant fuel economy is better when you maintain the speed on your own. Cruise control adds comfort when used. I have not faced any rusting issue. Had got antirust done for underbody at delivery because I stay in coastal area. Generally the car is parked in a covered parking. Car is good, high speed stability is superb, and amt is a boon in both city and highways.
Decided to buy one after watching ur video. Thanks for sharing!!!

👍
Petrol hai ya diesel
Petrol
Total Service cost in 2 years?
Around 12k.
Diesel ke liye kya opniyan he
Never drove a diesel nexon. But jitna suna hai in AMT diesel gearshift feels even smoother than petrol.
I have booked AMT nexon. Can you suggest if I have to buy AMC during initially purchase or later. Is AMC helpful to purchase in the first year.
AMC purchase during first year may not be very helpful unless your running is v high. AMC will include some consumables which might be useful if you have high usage.
@@ThatWanderingCoupleIndia thanks a lot
Nice review.
Thank you
Nice review bro
Thanks 😊
@@ThatWanderingCoupleIndia I am also looking for a car. Should I go with nexon hs amt or kushaq ambition manual. What's your openion or any other car.
What about mileage???
City: 12 to 13 kmpl
Highway: 18 to 20 kmpl depending on the roads and terrain.
Is this mileage calculated by sitting 5 people??? Answer of this is very important to know the real mileage...
My 2019 nexon battery Also become unserviceable just after 2.5 years. One of the cell becomes faulty.
Mine went off at 1.5 years. Especially with the cold weather the battery deteriorated quickly. Specific gravity of acid had changed. Replaced it with a 5 yr warranty battery.
Cool video. The 'L' sign indicates that soon you'll have a co-driver on your trips. :) . Looking forward to that and your next trip.
Hahaha!! True that.
Nice
Thanks
How much mileage can we expect in the City alone ? I am considering this car because of its height. It may be good for Seniors for getting in and out.
In city you can expect 12-14 depending on traffic conditions. For seniors it may get a bit difficult to get in because they need to lift their feet a bit higher. However, overall comfort level is top notch.
@@ThatWanderingCoupleIndia . Good point. I will take my dad to the showroom to check if they can comfortably get in. Thanks
I recently took Nexon 2024 Creative+ Diesel AMT.. Build quality is not up to the mark.. having gaps in liners
Have heard Tata cars having such alignment issues in door panel, etc. Luckily we didnt face such issues.
Thanks for the immediate response.. very helpful for people like me to take decision...
@@youprakash3 We are glad to help :)
City Mode me 2nd to 3rd Gear shifting happens at 37 which is too high…this eats up mileage specially in city drive ….manual me toh 33 ke speed pe 3rd gear shifting allow karta hai
Yeah. This is so that car ko ample power mile. Anyways manual mode mein car full power mein hoti hai (sports mode) isliye kam speed pe gearshift allow karta hai.
I have amt variant but I am getting 8 average in mumbai
Yeah. In Mumbai its v difficult to maintain a good fuel efficiency. But 8 is less. Hope you have serviced the car on time.
mileage is something that is resisting me to take this
Yes. If you are looking for good mileage you should look out for some other brands as well. City mileage will be a challenge.
@@ThatWanderingCoupleIndia any thought on amaze?
इतना भंगार gear box जिंदगी मे नही देखा, हिल मे भी रिव्हर्स आता हे,, back to back traffic hill मे एक बार test drive जरूर लेना भाई or बेहनो, noise तो ऐसा हे जैसे टॅक्टर चला रहे हे,, mera nexon amt diesel 32k running sale भी करणा हे
Thanks for sharing your experience!! Jaise maine kaha yeh review mere personal experience pe based hai aur nexon petrol amt ke liye hai. Aapka experience hum se behtar ya bura jarur ho sakta hai. Agree that test drive kar ke hi car khareediye. 😊
theek baat hai bhai ye duniya ko pagal bna raha hai
Your voice is very low through out the video. Plz do something
Thanks for your suggestion!!
Informative video, how much mileage are you getting in city and high way now ?
Post my 2 year major service I am getting 12-13 in Mumbai. On highways it gives a decent mileage of 18-20 kmpl depending on terrain and traffic. All with AC.
Waaaah
Not agreed service in pathetic in tata purchased amt nexon battery issue 2 times not recommend tata
👍
Did you install some electrical accessories after purchase (dealer or outside)?
Very nice n honest review. I also owned Tata Tiago XZA+ & giving same performance as you mentioned in video.
I think you should remove "L" from both front n back view as you have completed 2 years n 24K KM running. I know its a lifetime learning process but you are putting video on social media, it will be -ve impact on users. Very difficult to identify actual "L" vehicle now a days.
Mileage reviewed should be given as city run n outside city or long drive run...etc.
Thanks Ankur!! 😊
The ‘L’ is put up recently because my better half was learning. Guess its time to remove it now. 😉
Next time if you want to make a video dont do it by the road side. You can avoid trafic noise.
Why in every nexon the push button start & stop wears so easily......poor quality of material
True. In my car this happened because of use of sanitizer by service centre ppl.
@@ThatWanderingCoupleIndia you should change it then under warranty
Loved ur videos!👍🏻 Amt vs manual which is more reliable or durable for long term genearally?
@@ThatWanderingCoupleIndia Your immediate reply is highly appreciated sir.
Nice bhaiya bhabhi

24000KM, still L on car. I guess time to remove it
This L on the car was put after doing 15000 kms. 😉
