I thought it made perfect sense, too. The story was that Goldberg was a quick striker. Brock had the stamina, but had to survive the initial strike. Once he got past that, he had the advantage. Great story telling!

The fact that he quickly ended Brock a couple of times was shocking, since no one ever did that to Brock. Once Brock overcame the beginning, and the match was lengthened, Goldberg had no chance.

For me what I take from this interview was that I can get my ass kicked and still have a shot to win the world heavyweight championship if you don't give up on yourself. For me what I take from this interview was that I can get my ass kicked and still have a shot to win the world heavyweight championship if you don't give up on yourself.
