So in this world, Demi humans are normal, but humans are monsters which is a nice twist cause usually either Demi humans or monsters or demon or shadows that are monsters.
And I have my suspicions that our character is a human pretending to be a Demi human, even though those soldiers are wearing helmets, they are deans as well just more humanoid.
Feels like mix of Persona and Strange Journey.
Im interested in this game but havnt played an Atlas game before. Is this a brand new IP or does it assume some knowledge of persona/SMT?
This is a brand new IP with more of a westernized story, so no School kids in Japan and more fantasy and Kingdom.
They are super long investments but super worth it. The only thing that usually carries over is understanding enemies weaknesses because similar monsters usually appear in each game

@TheIcarusEffect imo if you want a true atlus experience, you should try smt5. But I hate persona so I'm biased against it
The normal enemy encounter look very easy, did someone told you on what difficulty was the demo on?
I believe it was just on normal. Everything was pretty easy until the boss challenged.
hi! :) do you by any chance know if equipped weapons all have their unique appearance , or is weapons purely stats and nothing else ?
this would be really interesting to know , as personally , i hate it when they include ''weapons'' , and all they are are stats to improve and changes nothing visually about your character and what they are wielding
I'm not sure! this was something I didn't check with my time with the game - i do know the game will be playable at anime expo so maybe we will see more!

The weapons you equip have visual changes aswell. It's pretty much been a thing since Persona 3 with these games.

Is there any difficulty setting?
There usually is in atlus games but for the demo there wasn’t
Atlus confirmed that there will be 5 difficulties (Very easy, easy, normal, hard and merciless)
At first i was in love with the UI and menu aesthetic of the game, but now i'm thinking it 's too busy and overdesigned. Every menu animation(especially during combat) feels like a PSI power from EarthBound.
No it not, I think that just u buddy it easy more stylish then p5 and it not busy at all it well designed u probably just want to complain for sake of it, I can see everything perfectly

I played persona 3 on two separate days not too far apart from each other.........on my second day playing the game I had 13 hours logged by the end of my session. I'm...........not sure my soul is ready for another.
I believe in you 😂 ive been through 2 back to back 100+ hours games but only play about 3-4 hours when in stream. It takes forever but i dont get burnt out

I thought they're going to make the mc gender ambiguous, seeing his/her face, body, and clothes are also gender ambiguous.

the blur and streaks you get on the screen when running are extremely distracting. really hope we can turn that off
Not a fan of the calender system (i like smt, but i hate persona becayse of the school and calender system) but they finally made the protag speak. Might pick it up for that alone lol

@user-cw4xm2bm1i no they dont??? Pay attention to game releases if you're gonna go around telling people the prices of games. Most games are $70, yes. But there are quite a few that are $60 or even $50
I still haven't been proven that $70 games are any good anyways. They've all been pretty garbage so far or very forgettable

??? Which one because I saw the ones in this video and none were like One Piece Dressrosa arc quality. They just look like Atlus anime cutscenes, which is to say they look good

Seems like they put more money into the UI than the gameplay, like Persona. I'm assuming it doesn't have a student/teacher relationship quest line so it should be better by default, at least.
There is no romance in this game
What is wrong with the gameplay? Its press turn. Which is pretty much the most fun turn based combat there is.
Kawakami is my favorite and can't wait for Persona 6 to have another romancable teacher.

This will be the softest RPG Atlas has ever made. It will be the most accessible and the easiest game they have ever made. You can literally look up archetypes to use online and instantly put them in your party to make sure you beat a dungeon. 🤢🤮
