Oh I think she did it, but she did it with help. She won't rat out the person that helped her because that means she did it. For all the people who believe she is innocent that would all go away. They would know she was behind his murder.

This. I can't stand it when people say things like "She's too beautiful to have done this" or "She is just a tiny little woman, no way she did this" or other things based off of her looks, gender or charisma. People thought Ted Bundy was an amazing guy too, and look what he did.
Women absolutely can and do commit atrocious crimes and many times get away with it because people refuse to see women as "capable" of such things. They absolutely are.

“How can any one think that I did this?” For me, it was the evidence. A person might have had a fight before a spouse disappeared, or just bought a gun, or be having an affair, or been shopping in the area where the body was dumped, or have similar suitcases, or “moved” the husband’s car elsewhere, or have similar blankets to those at the crime scene, or be worried that a toll booth documented your trip despite paying cash, etc. but pretty hard to think “innocent” when all those things and more.

Stop assuming a nurse couldn’t do this. Have you met any nurses? I’m from a family of them, am one myself, and you’d be surprised how nasty and cold some can be. Do I think she’d murder her patient? No. When she killed her husband, she was a wife killing her husband and her occupation had nothing to do with it.

    • @yunglynda1326

I’m by no means a criminal profiler. But I’ve watched countless documentaries with or based on killers, this woman appears to me as a salacious, supercilious, perfidious character with a splenetic undertone. Being a female, a nurse and a mother doesn’t camouflage her true sinister or insidious traits as a killer. She’s clearly a Psychopath that can disassociate the evil 👿 within her. Personally I firmly believe the police did a magnificent job in pursuing her and achieving justice for the poor soul she betrayed and brutally executed. She’s in the right place.

I've watched this documentary twice and can't believe anyone would think she's innocent. Buys a 38 caliber gun ( and same ammo that killed him), out of state and denies theres a weapon in the house when asked by the judge during the restraining order request. When asked if they had luggage she says yes but not a matching set ( kind of an odd thing to say), then changes her mind when they showed her the luggage he was in. Same type of trash bags at the house that he was put into. Tells police to look at the casino for his car (that she put there).Forges a prescription on her bosses prescription pad for a drug she probably used to sedate him before she killed him. Brings her divorce attorney and another lawyer to her interview at the police station. Has him cremated within days and gives his clothes away. How could this beautiful educated nurse ever think she's get away with it is beyond me. All so she could be with her doctor boss. Yea, she's innocent ! I feel so bad for her children. No mother and father now. Only question, where did she dismember him ?

Two things not sitting right with me: this woman is 5'3 and weighed no more than 115 lbs when Bill died. I do not believe she dismembered him, nor do I believe she drove 300 miles with a dismembered body in the car. Each suitcase weighed between 65 and 80 lbs of dead weight. I don't believe she threw them off the bridge. Second, I do not believe that Bill was dismembered in their apartment. That would be noisy, messy, and require a lot of physical strength. Not a trace of blood or tissue was found in that apartment. Nobody cleans THAT well. It's easy to say "oh, she had help" but that's a mere assumption. No offer of proof was made, and there was no evidence against the one person who most likely would have been an accomplice.
That notwithstanding, there is something about her that makes me believe she knows more than she's telling. She may or may not have been the shooter, but I'm not convinced she doesn't know what happened to him.

      Sure she could .
She put him in 3 luggege and took each luggage, one at a time ,she didn't even had to lift it, could have pushed or slide/roll it to her car and then lift each luggage for few seconds to put in trunk .
People can lift very heavy things for short periods of time,it's not like she had to carry the luggage with two hands and walk long distance.
The same when she got to the bridge ,she lift each luggage one at a time and throw it to the water
All it takes is few seconds.
Before she cut him she put in his wine the drug to make him
      sleepy / uncounsious
and rolled /pushed/ dragged his body to the shower where she cut him all the blood is drained
the running water makes it easy to clean the messs.
The noise of a saw cutting the body blend with background noises of tv or music combined with noises of running water, air-condition on ...
I doubt someone from outside can know what's going on in an inside room of apt with close windows.
There was no mess because she covered the floor with plastic bags nylon/ tarp or whatever material before she shoot him and dragged the body on the floor.
She had the whole night and whole day to clean the mess.
Only the fact the apt was left so clean is clearly showing she did it. She is an obsessive compulsive psychopath , she was in a trance cleaning and scrubbing the apt for hours.
What normal person leaves an apt in such spotless condition like no one ever lived there?!
A witness said when she came inside the apt she was taken by the strong smell of the cleaning products, she couldn't breath .It felt like a smell of a mourge.
Any place were two small children lived in can't be so clean .
      It's not normal.
Creepy how she has an answer for everything. A pathological liar . Scarry how her eyes move to the sides when she talk.
She was not found guilty based on opinions or assumptions but based on evidence and facts.
This is the reason the lawyer her family paid lot of money to hire and was one of the best in town ...he couldn't acquit her because all facts and evidence point to her.
Last thing, after she used all appeals and when she knew she is not going anywhere, she is in prison until her death , only then she admitted to her children that she did participate in the murder.

Someone who has inside information said it.
Even if Melanie doesn't have contact with her children and they don't visit her , she still can call them from prison and she did.
It was in a phone conversation when she called her children and she admitted she was present at the time of the murder.
A detective who worked on this case said it. Not me !!!
      About the apt.
Melanie Mcguire could easily clean the apt by herself.
She was alone , no one to interrupted her. She didn't sleep , she was cleaning the apt all night and all day.
How can it be that in a house where 4 people lived for a long period of time,
there was not even one fingerprint. Not even one DNA
Who cares to clean a house so thoroughly when you know you are not going to continue to live there ?
      This is very unnormal.
Another point I want to mention :
Most people when they find out their ex husband/wife was dismembered and put in suitcase , regardless of how the relationship between them , they will have some empathy and compassion no matter how bad things between them
When Melanie Mcguire talks about Bill you can see the hate in her eyes
In all her interviews she makes it look like he is the bad guy ...how mean he was ... he hit her...he abused her ...
The man died a horrible death ,
the least you can do is not to talk bad about him.
She is a dangerous woman. She is where she needs to be and she will be there until she dies.
      A side note
When a tenant leave an apt even if the apt is dirty as long as there is no damage and nothing was destroyed,
he will get the security deposit back

    • @annanimity7085
      @annanimity7085 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@tedybear7314 "Someone who has inside information" = hearsay. If someone who treated me poorly ended up getting murdered, I wouldn't put on a big show of grieving either. Maybe she just didn't care; that doesn't mean she killed him. If I remember correctly, there were people living in the apartment after she vacated and the state had to put them up in a hotel so the forensics team could come in. Your "not so much as a fingerprint" statement doesn't ring true. They examined the pipes, the drains, the traps (which people are not physically able to access to clean) and they found nothing to bolster their case. Nada, zip, zilch. It didn't happen there. As for Bill, Melanie is not the only person who said he could be an a$$hole. He had a gambling problem and a knack for pissing people off. He didn't die a "horrible death"; he was shot twice. The dismemberment came afterward. I think as far as abuse she probably gave as good as she got. She may have shot him, she may have been there when it happened, or she may have had it done, but I am not buying that she cut him up a) in that apartment and b) without help. But I do believe she was in on it and that she parked Bill's car in AC to make it look like he went on a bender. Someone else was there, either in her car or their own, and brought her back to Woodbridge. Her biggest lie was about those cab rides: someone was with her, and that's her accomplice. It makes way more sense than the alternative. And sorry, but I'm not believing she admitted any involvement to Jack and Jason without some kind of proof.

  • @gaylesmith2987

If she had a believable defense, she should have taken the stand at trial. Who wouldn’t want to speak on their behalf if they were facing years in prison for a murder they didn’t commit? She chose not to speak because of the avalanche of evidence against her. Patricia Prezioso did a brilliant job prosecuting McGuire, and would have torn her, and her baloney stories to shreds. McGuire is guilty as hell, and she’s exactly where she needs to be. The only way she’s leaving prison is in a box. They should do it Melanie McGuire-style...take her out in three boxes.

    • @thecavalieryouth
      @thecavalieryouth ปีที่แล้ว

It's literally common practice for the accused to be advised, by their own attorneys, *not* to take the stand. Things can be twisted to mean something very different than intended and people can get flustered, even when they're telling the truth. Being in a witness box in front of cameras and a jury is very nerve-racking. Juries aren't really about getting messy, grey-area details. They want cut-and-dry, black & white, very obvious believable **stories**, not necessarily the facts as they are, which are never straightforward in real life.
Innocent people get convicted of crimes they didn't commit on bullshit evidence that can be/has been refuted at a later stage.
There's a lot she did that makes her look questionable, but none of it actually points to or means she murdered her husband.
