- This is the 5th time that we've been to Aruba together. After not going since 2018, we made the trip this year with Rach's parents (Rose and Fred) and her Aunt (Cindy). One of the things we like best about visiting Aruba is the dining, it's actually really, really, good!! Probably some of the best in all the Caribbean. In this episode, we wanted to document our dining experience specifically. We went to some familiar places and some that were our first time dining there. All in all, it was an epic week, and the food played a big part of that. Hope you enjoy the video and please comment below what your favorite Aruba Restaurant is.

About Us:
We have been married since 2009 and reside near Pittsburgh, PA. Even before we were married, we loved planning trips and traveling to cool destinations. It has now become our passion and we love diving into new foreign cultures, food, and attractions. We started making home DVDs for our own keepsake many years ago. It was a great way to preserve memories and re-live those memories whenever we wanted. We eventually found that uploaded these videos to TH-cam made a lot of sense. We could share them with family and friends across the country in real time, on smart TVs, Ipads, and smart phones. That eventually led to us creating the “Matt n Rach” TH-cam Channel. Our focus now is not only to preserve our memories, but to include educational and useful information for our viewers as well.

We went to Papiomento on our first trip to Aruba in 1997. It was beyond beautiful and amazing!

We loved the dutch pancakes at The Dutch Pancake House in Oranjestad. And seafood at Zeerovers - it is incredible and to be experienced. The food is cooked outside and you eat seaside. We loved it!

I haven't been to Aruba in decades! I loved El Gaucho steakhouse. I'm going back to Aruba in December. I will DEFINITELY check out some of these restaurants. Thanks for the video.

When we go to Aruba we stay away from the high rise district and stay in the Eagle Beach area. They have some fine restaurants over there too.
My family and I love the food and atmosphere at Papiamento!
I love it - been to aruba about 10 times and love the surf club - this is the kind of blogging I want to do with my fiancé … if he’d only get in front of a camera!

Went to Ana Maria's last week based on this video. Place is excellent. I was going to go back but it meant I couldn't try a different restaurant. I'll try it again on my return

It seems like you love to eat great food. My family and some friends are going to Aruba again in July and will try some of these restaurants. The next time you go try Infini at the Blue Residences. The chefs were on the cover of the food guide you showed at the start of this video. It is expensive but well worth it. The meal is a 12 course tasting menu with wine or cocktail pairings. My wife and I got there at 6:30 and did not leave until 11. It was possibly the best meal and culinary experience we have ever had. I run my own catering business and could not believe the level this food was at.

We own at playa Linda in early June and Azzurro is one of our favorites ! All the restaurants you’ve reviewed are very good and deserve a try !
Diana’s Pancakes was an eye opener, I love Dutch pancakes and I can’t believe of not ever having them in Aruba all these years! A special Thank you for that one !!!

Thanks Jim!! Yeah definitely try Anna Maria's next time you're there. I didn't want to make her injury a focal point of the video...lol. But if you paid attention like you did, you could figure it out!! We'll look into that one the next time we go there, so many good places to eat on the island!!

We are looking to plan our first trip to Aruba but can”t decide if we should go all inclusive or just try the different restaurants like you guys did. All of the food looks great!
Our recommendation would be to not do the all inclusive. The island has so much to offer and is safe to venture around. On top of that, the restaurant scene is unbelievable. Have a great time!!
I was planning on doing an all inclusive and everyone I know who's been to Aruba said do not do an all inclusive. Too many fabulous restaurants and beaches to see on the island. We'll be there next month. We cannot wait.

I've been to Aruba 8-10 times over the past 20 years and appreciate your ratings. You missed a really good one--the Palm Beach location of Casa Tua (never tried the Oranjestad location) People tend to miss it because it's a bit casual, but the food is fantastic. Ruth's Chris at the Marriott is fricking awesome--home to one of the three best meals of my life.
My boyfriend and I love Atardi! We have been two years in a row, I feel it is the best beach dining restaurant in Aruba.

I miss aruba restaurants and the food nex tame you have too visit fish and more l love the food the chef Bruno is very good 10 for the food 😋
First thing that I observed is the cohesiveness in your family. I would rate the a 10+ when the members are involved in decision making. I don't know if the places you went to know that you are going to feature their restaurant in your review. if not then this is truly an independent and an honest to goodness review. You high scores are more "humane" and not "brutal" like other reviewers. You covered a lot of restaurants and that is very informative to the tourists going to Aruba. You should think of hitting the bookstores for a bestseller copy of your review and this will definitely help a broader audience who plan to go to this "One Happy Island". Incidentally, we are here for over a week of vacay and had reserved a dinner at Omakase. We haven't been there and hopefully I won't be disappointed. I was not aware of Dragonfly Sushi and Sake but that is another place I need to explore. We were at Flying Fishbone last year and that is another place to dine while the sun is setting down.

Hi Nick! No, anyone can make reservations at Atardi. It just happens to be on the Marriott property. Most non all-inclusive resorts have their own restaurants you can go to. Glad you enjoyed the video!!

Taking a big crew to Aruba. What company did you rent the large van from as can’t find with any rental car.
We actually took taxis during this trip. I have rented vehicles on the past though. Nice to have a vehicle on the island. I would just do some research and read some reviews.

Anna Maria’s
Atardi
Gasparito’s (true local cuisine)
However they were all excellent and you can’t go wrong with any of them.

If you go with a group or your family all inclusive is the way to go breakfast,lunch ,and drinks all day are more then you can imagine ! If you feel the need to go out at night you can always try one of the great restaurants! Or have dinner at your hotel ! This is an opinion from a 20 year veteran 😎
I think it's 100 percent personal preference. Fair point though. For a week's stay, I just feel the culinary scene is too good there not indulge into it.
