SITUATION
It is March of 1963, you are part of MAC-V SOG Recon Team (RT) Dakota, callsign Cobra. You will conduct covert actions in Laos. The missions you will conduct are top secret. The US government will deny your existence if you are captured or killed.
MISSION
Target Sierra Two is located 19kms north west of Ben Het Special Forces Camp. As you know, Ben Het is under heavy siege surrounded by two NVA regiments. Supporting that siege from the safety of neutral Laos, is a three gun battery of Soviet made 155mm artillery. Ben Het's defenders are holding their own against enemy ground fighters, but these guns threaten to obliterate the entire SF camp. Your mission is to recon Sierra Two, find those guns, and destroy them with tactical air-strikes or demolitions. Our Intel analysts believe that battery shares a single fire-direction center, which means the guns are close together, and they should be linked by land-line for communications. If you find and follow that wire, you can avoid some deadly traps and ambushes. Counter battery radar suggests the guns near a ridge facing Ben Het.
Dakota will depart from Command and Control North (CCN) FOB Three and head to the designated AOR. There, RT Dakota will locate and destroy the NVA artillery.
