What's up Ray? Yeah, this was at St Pancras International Train Station in London. The video was posted on TikTok only a couple of days ago and it's already over 3 Million views and rising! This is one of those rare times we actually see Angelina remove her socks and shoes. The blonde lady in sunglasses recording with her phone? That was Angelina's mom Sara. If you don't know, this station has been used by a number of piano players who make TH-cam videos such has Brendan Kavanagh, also known as Dr. K, who plays Boogie Woogie on that very piano. As for the piano? It was donated to the station by music legend Elton John and he actually signed the top of it! This was really cool!
It would be cool if Angelina sang Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.❤

Good one Ray, I love this "impromptu" Back to Black performance & it's the 1st time I've heard her sing the "Big Girl" lyrics of Amy. When she 1st recorded this, she was 10 & the day before the scheduled session with the KORK Orchestra, her Mom read the explicit lyrics & told her she would have to rewrite them. Most people that listen to that early version have no idea the lyrics are not the original ones because they fit perfectly with the melody. The orchestra didn't have to change anything.
A really good rendition. Always good to see singers go bare foot when performing. Many have attested to this helping them stay grounded. I have often walked through this part of St Pancras station to begin a work related journey and many is the time I have stood for a few minutes by the piano to listen to musicians playing solo or in a small group. Improv performances like this often have a magic that is harder to replicate in prepared performances.

The piano was apparently donated to the train station by Elton John for public use. The piano player is a classical pianist who has made many of these types of videos. Some comments on the original Tik Tok say that these videos are staged. Maybe many are but other comments say that he is at the train station often so young artists go up to him to get exposure. Maybe that’s how this video came about. Maybe Angelina knew he was there and seeked him out?

It became my second favourite behind " good in goodbyes " wasn't sure about " bad valentine " but now it's a favourite of mine . With the right promotion it must be a chart hit .
