Till is 35 here, built like a brickhouse! Him, Peter from Type O and Phil Anselmo were a different kind of frontman in the 90s, pure testosterone.

This is an example why you should always check the lyrics listening to Rammstein.

@@NORSEVIKING It was my first concert in general. I had assumed at that time that all concerts are like that and was mostly disappointed by other artists. I always had the feeling that the other bands wanted to be the center of attention themselves and with Rammstein it was always so that you thought they were doing it for the fans. At Festival I always had the best concert feeling.
At the older concerts it was more comfortable when only 20k to 30k fans were there. The stadium tour since 2019 is just overwhelming and breathtaking.

@tosa2522 I was at many concerts and festivals before i finally got tickets for Rammstein last year.
My first concert was the 1000. Concert of the band "Die Toten Hosen" (literally: the dead pants) with my oldest sister (i had to go with her but it was ok for me). It was at the old Rheinstadion in Düsseldorf and we had seats that were on one side of the stage.
That was a really annoying experience, because the sound had gotten reflected by the grandstand opposite of the stage with a noticeable delay - that had given me a heavy headache after one hour (the main band had not played at this time).
Another bad experience was at the Seeed concert in the Hockey stadium of Mönchengladbach, we were in the VIP area and you couldn't really hear the horn section - which is an essential part of their performance... and also the crowd was annoying. Many underaged boys and girls who disliked it when you moved yourself to the music.
Indoor concerts at special venues which are built for those events never disappointed me soundwise. Like the Cypress Hill concert in Dortmund.
My first festival experience was way better.
I heard of that festival the day before it started and on the next day i bought my ticket hopped on the train home. At home i got rid of my working clothes, showered, packed my backpack with something to eat, a t-shirt, a boxer, a pair of socks and a windbreaker and went back to the main station where i met with my friends.
The train ride was included in the ticket.
We arrived at Koblenz main station, took a shuttle bus to Kastellaun (a small town in the Hunsrück mountain range) and then we arrived at the biggest temporary city (top 3 in this state) in Rhineland-Palatinate: The camping village of the Nature One. You can't imagine that without seeing it. There are over 120k people camping there building their own stages with everything you have in a normal club.
After a long walk we came to the entrance of the main festival area (up to 70k people) and it was mind blowing. The Nature One is located at the former US-Base Pydna (it was planned to station cruise missles with atomic warheads there, but over 180k people from the region demonstrated against it and built a human chain around the base) and that's what makes this festival so special.
Several Clubs and Labels are located inside, outside and on top of the six bunkers and then there are the four main stages (open air stage with the commercial successful artists, century circus an eight mast tent with harder techno, house of house and the classics stage - till 2003 it was a stage for Drum'n'Bass).
Another unforgettable experience was the Prodigy concert in Düsseldorf, few months before Keith Flint left us (RIP).
But when it comes to concerts, Rammstein is beyond what you can imagine.
The sound is outstanding, the lighting is awesome, their music is always great and their stage show is just another level.
I really hope that i wont have the same experience with the bad acoustic of stadiums this year, when Rammstein plays at the Munich Olympiastadion but I'm confident that their audio engineers won't let this happen.
I have to admit last year i wasn't so confident, because of my experiences with stadiums.
I had chosen the Gofferpark in Nijmegen instead of the new Arena in Düsseldorf just to get the best sound possible.

      @tosa2522 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@CavHDeu Thank you for describing your experience, which is very similar to mine.
I have also heard that the Rammstein performance outside of stadiums in open spaces is not quite as good. This was told by someone who was in Stuttgart last year.

This song represents for me Till's musical journey as well as his take about how he grew up,propably talking from that perspective and his relationship with his mother..
Pretty poetic way to express your pain inside a family and how things looks now as an adult..
However his lyrical side is portrayed in such genius way that it leaves room for many many different interpretations and gives to their listeners and fans their hidden pain behind that song..
Dark atmosphere and lyrics that really shows that Rammstein aren't just a band but a work of Art.
Thank you for giving us that great song

the character of the song strangled his beloved woman because she cheated on him, and left her corpse near the piano, the corpse began to stink, then someone's parents found the body and took it away, and they did not "believe him that he is terminally ill from grief and stench", the stench was from the body.

I couldn't describe it better. Someone mentioned it in a comment of another reactor that Klavier is Till's favorite song.
It was the same for me till they released Zeit.
For me it was the first song that shows Till's abilities as a singer.

I never heard about that. What I know is, that Till even cared for his grandmother for a while and I also was reading in an interview, that she once should up for him, as one of the coaches was very unkind to Till, back when he was in the swimmer team. These things are quotes from different Interviews by Till himself. Can you give me your source? It would be nice to know more, if it is true.

i'm german, i don't know the story behind the song either, but since lindemann sounds like a stalker in other songs and stein um stein, he builds a woman into a house so she'll never be found, i could imagine that he abducted the piano playing lady forced her to play for or with him. she died and she is found at the piano. mother crys father beats me. he is sick of sorrow and stench, sounds like she has lived in the basemend or a room in his house. he is playing a psychopath that is abusing ladies until they die, and then he wants to be the victim, because he has it so bad because of the rotting lady. Rammstein are special but they do very deep going songs. think about it, and think about what is happening in the world

  • @josefinenagy4136
