You give me the confidence to taking that next step , when your still learning that steps to metal shaping the metal working . Thank you so much for your talent and techniques in showing the simple way to repair and replacing sheet metal.
Coming along nicely Derek ! Was wondering about the wood piece on the top Your made for the Gaudet's roadster is there a notch cut into the windshield side to fit it along the front top area with provision to attach it to the window frame ? Till nest week Cheers !
There's a metal bracket that screws to the wood and it slides down onto the tops of the windshield posts. There's a set screw that's then tightened to hold it in place onto the windshield posts.
We bought them through a Brookville dealer here in Canada. I think Brookville will sell them but it's all based on availability and you have to ask for them. They don't advertise or list 2nds.

@@coldstreamrodshop Ok thanks !
I like the roof of the roadster ! Is it a Bob Top one or self made by your customer ? Nice job on the 5w !
Yes the frame was made by my customer. This is the second one he made.
@@coldstreamrodshop do you know how can I reach them ?
@@harold.degand yes, are you interested in a frame?
@@coldstreamrodshop yes I am but I would like to build it by myself
