For kids who have always slept in the same room or bed together, especially twins and “trauma survivors”,it’s extremely normal too want to stay in the same sleeping arrangement when you leave your “normal life” situation. Eventually when they feel more comfortable, they will probably change it up or it also may have been too chill there family out with them leaving.
The bunk beds are most likely for sibling sleepovers.
    All logical explanation’s ✌️

Maybe that is part of the deal with mom and dad. Maybe they are only allowed to move out if they are in the same room so they don't have temptation and sin.

Joanne McDonald there are 2 options in that sentence. 1,we all know is a fact for them.
Also a fact is that both types of people, very commonly do the same “behavior”, in a new life situation 👍✌️

Joanne McDonald I believe you may be reading more into my comment or simply not understanding it. Like I said. There are 2 options in the comment. One we all know is a fact for them. Also psychology and science show both types of people, which can fall into one or both of these categories, can and often do respond to this life changing experience, in the same or very similar way. It’s extremely common.

To be fair to Jill I think the modest swimwear company reached out to her and sent her the swimwear to promote, which makes sense since she probably has a huge conservative following, which is the company’s target market. I think for Jill she thought the swimwear was kind of cute and she could get revenue by promoting, so why not? I see it less as her still being stuck in her old ways, and more as her leveraging her platform to make money. That’s my take on it 😊.

I am not religious (am a hindu from Mauritius) but my dad was strict generally.. He didn't really let me go out of the house wearing sleeveless/spaghetti strap/tank tops to go out.. But I was allowed inside the house..
2 years in Germany for my masters and yeah, still trying to wear tank tops to go out... (in addition, had a nasty guy groping me😒, which kinda made me more cautious)..

It is probably their way of trying to make sure they aren't tempted to doing things they believe to be a sin. Kind of like having a chaperone to keep you from yourself. It would also be a way they couldn't sneak a girl into their bedroom.

My brothers are twins and actually shared a room up until they both got married a few years back so this isn't really a big shock to me. It wasn't any "keep each other accountable" type thing or whatnot. They're just that close and have been since literally birth. Even now, one is almost always at the other's house just hanging out. One even married a twin and his wife and her sister are the same way. Is this the normal for twins? I have no idea and I'm not trying to speak for them either. I'm just going off of my experiences.

I wonder if Jim Bob and Michelle required the fellas to share a room as a condition of moving out of the big house? No one in that house ever goes anywhere alone. It keeps them each accountable to maintain good behaviour as there are always witnesses to anything they do. Plus Jimmy would freak out if these boys were inappropriate with their idle hands, so no personal satisfaction allowed and keeping the twins together keeps them wholesome, if you know what I mean. 🤗

I'm not sure why you drag on "Bunkbed Jed." Why would you call him that? To my knowledge, he's done nothing that has earned the dragging just because you don't like his parents (neither do I). You always say you don't judge people but you're unnecessarily kind to people who aren't hurting anyone. There are enough truly ratchet people out there to make fun of. You don't have to pick at ones who are just trying to live wholesome lives. His parents are open game.

“Duggar fans saw the Cribs: Duggar Bachelor Edition! of Counting On this week. TLC posted ahead of it on Instagram, reminding people to tune in and see Jeremiah and Jedediah Duggar move into their own home. Well, fans had a lot of fun talking about the tour of their new home. In fact, someone coined a new nickname for Jed - “Bunkbed Jed.” “Other fans think it’s hilarious.”

We went out and bought lawn chairs and had a 13" TV to watch for a month or so waiting for our furniture arrive. The comfort of a bed, any bed would've be great! Ever sleep on an air mattress? I don't mean the ones today, the old ones where every time you move your elbow hits the floor through the mattress.

If y’all make fun on of their room y’all do not have a big family and it shows 😂 big close families enjoy the company especially if we are embarking on a new journey with a sibling. Late night conversations are better and again we’re so used the company so we choose to be with our sibling. AGAIN if you’re from a CLOSE and large family (guys they are twins!!!) We’re going to CHOOSE to be with our sibling!

I think it's VERY odd that they (twins or no) would, at their age, share a bedroom if there were another option; which there obviously is in their new, three-bedroom home. But it's the Duggar's, so, no.

I thought the same thing about the twin beds, the bunkbed, and them sharing a room, and how ridiculous.that is. Still I think the bed sitch is so that either twin can't hook up with any ladies...as far as their parents believe. Still, the twin beds could be pushed together for a King sized bed for Jer, and the bunkbeds separated and combined to make another King sized for Jed, so each brother could have their own beds in their own rooms (as they should), but I guess we shall see.

Perhaps all these rules don’t exist? Seems every video you do is they broke this rule or that rule. Maybe they’re not rules in the first place. Not saying they are all they are or are not cracked up to be but you probably have 20 videos on these rules than their actions seem to prove different. Just a observation
