    Enjoyed the review;
    had not heard of this type of cooking device until now. Like flat screen TVs, etc., price is now $200!

    I have been waiting for this video Darrin! I like both companies. My very first sous vide was the earlier VacMaster, and I have never had a problem with it. Big powerful 1500 Watts. I also own a Anova and love that as well. Small but efficient and just as reliable. Surprised the VacMaster took longer to heat the water. Seems like for the money the Anova Pro wins. Thanks for the review.

      Smo'King BBQ Tips & Recipes it is hard to do a durability test, which would also be a big thing for these units. But overall functionality the Anova has a leg up..

    I got my Anova Pro for $200! It was on sale for Fathers’ Day! Great gift to myself! 😁

      I'm almost convinced that $200 is the actual cost of the Anova Pro because they have that $200 sale way too often. If you're paying double, you're a rube.

      I find this statement amusing as five years or so ago you'd be paying $400 for an entry level unit. The commercial ones were easily up around $1k.

      cypherf0x Dang. That sounds like when flat screen tv’s first came out, they were 10-15k dollars.
