Thank you so much for this video; I grew up in Washington and have a hard time finding videos that truly show the place I love (most are about trendy restaurants or the cannabis industry, failing that it's all about Seattle/so polished in the shot that it warps the actual beauty). I may be moving to Bellingham in the coming years for school and this nearly brought a tear to my eye knowing the natural aspects are still intact (It's been almost two decades and I know modernization sets in fast). The way your videos are set up is both soothing and pleasant; I loved every moment, so thank you from New Mexico c:
I appreciate the watch! Definitely trying to keep things as "natural" as possible while showcasing the beautiful aspects of this great state! One of the best parts about Seattle are the awesome nature hikes. There literally hundreds of different places and spots that I still need to check out. Thanks for the support =)
Teddy Bear cove is really neat, but if you want an option that is very similar (maybe even better) and has a bridge over the tracks for safety, try Clayton Beach just south of there
It's definitely a go to spot when visiting Bellingham. I imagine the summer time would be fun to visit considering you'll be able to access some of the swimming holes there. Thanks for the support =)
The sunset in Larabee State Park is gorgeous (we saw it). We went there too at Bear Cove (be careful hiking down it’s a little steep). Good video! Very informative.
I would imagine it to be a nice place to set up a bonfire (if allowed). Come by during the later summer months and enjoy a nice beach evening along the coast!
Nice video! My understanding about the train tracks is that Amtrak isn't going up to Bellingham right now because of Covid but that could change...or I could be wrong...I think I remember reading that somewhere.
Looking for other day trip videos? Check out my 1 day trip at Sequim Washington!
