Backlog busters did a run of the worst parties in the game. Your friends managed to pick 3 of the worst classes, and the runner up for Galuf, right off the bat. Somehow.
Time Mage getting !Lance is pretty convenient. Helps pay for them expensive spells. Faris was a pirate. No end of uses for rope on a ship. Some habits die hard XD Oh wow, you got Red Mage at the worst possible point to have a Red Mage on the team. Kind of a shame to follow up two good melee jobs with a magic job, but at least HP+30% will help with Almagest later :P
A challenge run? How about, everyone gets two jobs, no duplicates, and one of those jobs has to be from the first crystal. For this challenge I’d say freelancer is available after mastering the two jobs but not mimic. This isn’t a terribly hard challenge, so maybe shoot for minimal grinding?
Bro this is an easy challenge. Blue mage, black mage, and knight alone together trivialize 3/4 of the game including every boss I'm not saying it won't be funbor is a bad idea, but it's not really much of a challenge. I think it would be better to do a no 750 run with 2 jobs per character and you can't use freelancer (free lancer is extremely broken with having access toeverything at any time)
'dragoon, it's not terrible' Yes.. yes it is. Oh forgot to mention you should get a trident if you have ot use a dragoon, it makes them not entirely shit. Edit: Geomancer= free omniscient btw. Some of the bells are magic and you can just wear a reflect ring. It's super easy.
And I am…considering this idea Might as well take the “pick my units” style runs into a new genre for myself (and actually get extra use of the pixel remaster)
I didn't know the trick with Omniscient myself, so my solution in the end was: I berserked him. He hits hard but then he can't rewind. Just wondering if anyone else tried it.
I recently did a run of FFV where I only used support jobs. My team being: Dancer, Chemist, Bard, and White Mage. It wasn't really that hard but some fights were really annoying with basically no damage output. PSA: DFFOO had amazing looking sprites and portraits. I miss the game sometimes.
If you change their jobs every act... then why not restrict the job choices of each act to the jobs you get in that act?? At least then you could let every character have jobs as soon as possible, lol.
With FFV, you get all the jobs in the first act, excluding mimic. They give you them all early so you can mix and match all the abilities and find which jobs work for how you want to play the game.
Ohhhhhh i see, i can promise you that any mispronunciations i make is down to me either not being aware of a official pronunciation, or just plain stupidity lol
They were, bartz really didnt do much at the end, and i only really used the white mage part of the redmage kit. DualCast is great tho if you pair it eith other magic jobs, like Dual Casting meteor or flare with time mage is one of the best combos in the game
Even outside of rod smashes, red mage has some utility with its spells. Buffs with protect and duelcast is fairly decent. Duelcast with other spells are great, and it almost makes it worth it on a regular playthrough. Almost. Red mages also can use swords and daggers for more standard attack damage than thieves or other magic jobs so it has something going for it. Also it can rod smash. Kek @VTuberRuby
Hope you enjoy! I spent more time on this then i’d have liked to, but hopefully the next video wont take as long to get finished!
Happy holidays! ❤

Faris is the true RPG genius. ALWAYS carry rope and a knife.
Me: I got lost in a really good book recently.
Ifrit: me too, how did you get out?
Me: what?

Ooooooh, i’ll write that one down! Thank you!

really fun! gave me similar vibes to backlog's ffv vids.
I've bingewatched those so much, I get challenge runs recommended all the time now
Loved all of backlogs ff vids!
twenty-two jobs, one at a time.
'dragoon, it's not terrible'

The dragoon could at least give the monk Equip Spears, which would boost !Kick pretty well. Pixel remaster only, though.
Bells having magic effects I'm sure is only the pixel remaster
Amazing vid Rubyyyyy!!
Rest in peace Galuf ;;
And I am…considering this idea

By all means!
Im glad i could make you want to play the games again!!
Absolute banger friend

I wish there was a offline version of OO, it was really fun :(
Berserkers,berserkers all the way
Are you SURE your friends didn't just choose the worst jobs?
Arent we all?
also really enjoy how you didnt even needed dual cast, got a sub

Are you saying Krile's name wrong on purpose?
I actually didnt know until just now that there was a official pronunciation, i dont keep up much with FFXIV, sorry about that 😅
@VTuberRuby I wasn't sure some people do that for memes
A poketuber does it just to frustrate people lol
Ohhhhhh i see, i can promise you that any mispronunciations i make is down to me either not being aware of a official pronunciation, or just plain stupidity lol
You did not change jobs every act like you said... :/
By games end red mage/monk are pure crap.
They were, bartz really didnt do much at the end, and i only really used the white mage part of the redmage kit.

Red mage is perfectly fine endgame, they can rod smash. Rod smash is enough baby!
Red Mage best mage fight me
